Chapter 8 Knowledge is Power

Hayley's POV:
Hayley and Elijah's apartment
"I think we should let her go to school, we can't keep her in the Abattoir forever Elijah" i said.

"Look Hayley, until we've made a appropriate plan to protect her it's probaly for the best. We don't know what this Gemini coven is capable of." Elijah told me with a worried glance. He knew i would get irritated if they told me how to raise MY daughter.

" I am her mother and it's my decision, the Gemini coven doesn't know what I'm capable of!. And if Klaus has a problem we could always have another go" i said harshly

" Oh God no, not again, the abattoir can't withstand your constant fighting forever" Elijah chuckled.

I saw his eyes light up he had an idea

"Lightbulb?" i said sarcastically

" I have a interesting proposal for you, perhaps it could be a fitting compromise." Elijah said while grinning, damn i loved him

There was a short silence

"Spit it out" i said seriously

"I'm sorry Hayley but Niklaus would never allow her to go to school, at least not yet. What if each of us taught her something?? Each member of my family has more than a thousand years of knowledge. We would even teach her to protect herself" Elijah explained

"Fine" i growled "Lets gather everyone now and delegate" i said

Hope's POV:
The Abattoir
The whole family was gathered in the dining room. Including Marcel, Davina and some blond women. My mother and Elijah had called this meeting, hopefully not another fight between my mother and father.

"We think it would be the best option for now" My mother explained their plan

Most of the people nodded in agreement but there were a few faces of disagreement

"No!I'm not babysitting a Mikaelson" Davina declared harshly

"Shut up witch, this is my home and you will only speak when spoken to" my father told Davina

I suddenly sensed a surge of power...
It was coming from Davina and being directed to my father

Pain...

I sensed Davina say in her mind, she was inflicting pain on MY father. This would not stand!. In my fit of rage i expelled my power towards Davina. Both she and Marcel toppled over their chairs. I had power too. I thought to myself.

"Enough!!" yelled Elijah. "Stop this insolence now!"

"Brother.." I heard my father whisper, his voice was brooding

"Everyone calm down" Rebekah was speaking now. "Davina you will help us, this is a great opportunity to make peace with our family. You know better than most what my family is capable of. You will also get to study magic with Hope and Freya." Rebekah said boldly

" I guess getting to study magic with Freya will be a bonus" Davina murmured

"Good, i accept these terms"as Klaus said it he immediately regretted it

" Camille, will you take Hope to buy herself a cellphone and show her the French Quarter?? " Elijah asked Cami

" Of course" she said. Wow she was gorgeous, but what is she to this family?

We soon got a phone i immediately knew how it worked. I don't know why but i knew all the basics of life. It must have been a side affect from the spell

Cami's POV:
Cami's Bar
I didn't mind looking after Hope she was a nice girl, very beautiful she reminded me alot of her father.

"This is my Bar, it's called called Cami's" i explained to Hope." I just have some things to go handle, make yourself comfortable, and if anyone messes with you tell them you know me" i winked at Hope

Hope's POV:
Cami's Bar
I felt out of place, like i didn't belong here. I decided to go sit at the Bar where i wouldn't be a bother. I sat next to a beautiful African American girl she smiled and nodded at me i returned a friendly glance. A handsome bartender came my way

"What can i getcha" He asked casually with a smile on his face."I'm Kai by the way" he introduced himself
