Chapter 9 Friends

Hope's POV:
Cami's Bar
"Kai..? That's a really cool name, I'm Hope" I smiled,like an idiot sadly.

"Girl, you blushin" The girl next to me said. "I'm Phenyo by the way" she smiled

I sensed this power inside of her. It sensed weird, earthy in a way

" I know that look, your sensing my magic, i sense your's too boo" she declared

"But..how??" you could hear the stress in my voice. What if this was one of those Gemini witches?

" Girl,no need to fear. We're both witches it's natural too sense powerful magic" Phenyo said with confidence

"Shhh" i spit at her " What if someone heard us!"i said shooting a worried glance at her

"Hahaha you must not be a very experienced witch. See that candle? When i lit it i invoked a privacy spell" she said proudly.

"Sorry" I managed to mumble through my embarrassment

" Don't stress girl, look Kai's on his way over here why don't you snag his fone number?but do it with swag honey" Phenyo said while giggling

"So..what's a pretty girl like you doing here" he asked me while smiling at me. I looked down in embarrassment, i was totally blushing. He gently tilted my chin up with his index finger. "Mmmh?" He murmured

" She was just leaving" I heard a aggressive voice say from behind me. It was my father." Dad!" i yelped

"We're leaving" He said dryly whilst still staring at Kai. I didn't dare disobey, but before we left i gave Phenyo my number.

"I'll give it to Kai too don't worry" she whispered in my ear. I saw my dad trying to eavesdrop with his vampiric hearing. But it wouldn't help him much, Phenyo's privacy spell was still in effect.

Klaus's POV:
The Abattoir
"You shouldn't speak to people you don't know my little wolf" I was saying, trying to stay calm

"Oh, please Father I hardly know you" Hope didn't know what she said till she saw her Father's reaction

I was utterly shocked, how dare she speak to me this way. Not only am I her father but I'm Niklaus Mikaelson!

"Sorry father, i didn't mean it like that"she murmured, trying to sound apologetic

"It's fine, you can retire to your room now" i said coldly

Hope's POV:
The Abattoir
I left for my room immediately, only because i was waiting for my Phenyo to text me

Hey Girl xx
It's your Home girl Phenyo, i totally gave Kai your number. He says he's gonna text you tomorrow. Good luck *

I smiled reading the text. I made a friend on my first day out
