Falling.

Since you're nowhere to be seen these days.
I've been falling to the point of no return.
You've guided me and held my hand.
As the masquerade of life frightens me.

All along I've never realised what you've done for me.

You've danced circles around my foolish heart.
And I'm trapped in your beloved embrace of dreams.
My world has been falling down as the pain sweeps through.
Yet you're still here each day, singing your warm sweet lullaby.

I don't wish to break away from your leading soul.

It makes no sense at all.
There's no reason to fall.
But here I am, deep within a sad love.

Just falling.

This was written late last night as I realised how close David Bowie was to me. I've felt alone this entire time and yet I've played 'As The World Falls Down' nearly everyday, not bothering to listen to the lyrics. It's a bit cliche but it's like a comforting promise that he's made through song.

He's been here all along as my world has fallen apart.
It's sickly sentimental but it's true.

I also adore the Labyrinth and that ballroom scene makes me melt every time. It's a beautiful poetic song on which I hope to play at my wedding during my first dance.

Sincerely Yours,
Liliana.
