On that same day, a guy, walking down the street, no big deal, was really tired. The guy entered a near dinner he saw from across the street, recognizing the name and trying to make sure he wouldn't forget it. He asked the waitress if they served hot chocolates as he sat down, she nodded and left him behind, sitting and waiting for the current waitress. He looked on the phone for the time, it was 4;27 pm. He waited for another waitress so he could ask her for his order. He opened the menu, looked at the specials, nothing specially good, but it was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary dinner and he saw the waitress coming his way. She was carrying some bottles and drinks carefully. He saw her face and she tripped over. He saw the plate and grabbed it before it even fell to the ground. No drinks or bottles were spilled. She stood up looking for the drinks and got a little surprised the guy served them to the couple next table. He went back to his table and waited for the waitress to attend him. She was really flattered and she took the tiny notepad and said, "Thanks about the drinks. Your order?" He replied her, "Just three hot chocolate cups." She looked at him and said, "Three?" He asserted and replied, "Yeah, one for me now, and one for you and me at your break, that's if you want and can." "You are asking me out on a date without even knowing my name?" "In theory but if you think its a date then it is." She was blushing a bit and she started writing on the notepad and she ran to the kitchen. He saw two guys fighting over something at the table outside. He heard they were bragging about their powers and weapons. He started to laugh a little, and he went outside for a second. He heard them babbling and screaming. "I have super-speed," said the one with a weird taste of fashion. "I can do both white and black magic at the same time," said the one with a robe. "I can use fire and light." "I can telepathically move my body for flight." "I can run at the speed of sound." "I can kick your ass in seconds." "I'll kick yours before you even notice." The guy walked on them and said, "Lord Zephyros gave me this himself," and then raises his hand to the sky. A gust of wind appears and blows things with might strength, and then great vibration appears and a green like sword fell down the sky. It was falling really fast, and then it hit the ground and got stuck there. "Did Lord Z-Z-Zephyros gave you t-that?," said one looking really surprised. "Yes, he even wanted to give me his armor, I declined because I don't use armor," he said while taking the sword from the ground. The other one was saying, "Damn, I got nothing." "Same, this guy is way too good to receive a gift from Lord Zephyros." "The name is Zorium, Zorium Lixwrath," he said as he stretched his hand. "I can't say my name, but people call me Hesiods for a reason, so call me Hesiods," said Hesiods, the one with super speed, as he shakes his hand back. "I'm Equinox, I am relly bad at greetings and introductions, so Hi?" "Hi, I was wandering why were you two fighting?," said Zorium as he looked at them curiosuly. "We were fighting because of who would get the waitress's number, the one with pinkred skin," said Hesiods. Zorium took a piece of paper, and he wrote something on it. "Her name's Deki Nebula, she's 19, and she doesn't like to go out with random guys." They both got curious of what was he writing, and he showed them her phone number. Hesiods curiously said, "How did you get her number?" Zorium replied with a smirk and walk inside saying, "She's my friend, we both are certified heroes." Equinox got excited and said, "You both are members of the Interstellar Hero Association?!" Zorium turned back and said, "Yea, I studied my Hero degree and then became an independent warlock, I look for missions and do them, and they give me rewards." Equinox and Hesiods looked at each other, then at Zorium and then they said, "How old are you?" He smiled and said, "Shhh." Hesiod's phone started to sound and he answered the call. He was loudly calming someone over the phone. He finished the call and said, "Aunt Thena called to say that she was recieving bad vibes of massive power coming from the sky." Equinox looked back to Zorium and said, "Hey Zorium, what species are you?" He didn't answer but then he took a coin and flipped it over. He catched it and then he said, "Hesiods, Son of a Greek God, Hermes? Born with superspeed, and Uncle Helios taught you the ways of fire, right?" Hesiods took a gun and pointed directly at his head. "How do you know that?," he said as he had a flare lit on his hand with the gun. Zorium looked at him and said, "Damn my order must be on my table." Hesiods took out another gun and pointed at him with it. "How do you know that?, said Hesiods angry with a serious face. Zorium looked at the Blade of Zephyros and it went up to the sky. In a blink of seriousness, Hesiods pulled the trigger and the same time Zorium took both guns and catched the bullet with his teeth. Zorium spit out the bullet and said, "Light energized silver?" Hesiods looked suprised as Zorium gave him his guns back to him. Equinox took a book out and said, "No way!" Zorium took a glance at the book an said, "Fine, you got me. I am an Ascendant." Equinox took a black looking sword with a yellow gem on its hilt and pointed the blade at his neck. "Y-You can't be an a-ascendant. All of them d-d-died, by a strike of The Darkbringer of Light, it's impossible for you to be an ascendant." Hesiods looked at him and said, "He's the one who did it, he is the Darkbringer of Light." Zorium touched his sword with two fingers and lowered it to the ground. "Today is my monthly check-up with the asociation so please, Let me drink my damn chocolate." He left inside and sat down on his table. The pinkred skinned waitress came and sat down with him. "Those two bothering?," she said as she left a cup of chocolate down. "Kind of, they just making their hero degrees and they don't even know what happened to my race." She took his hand and said, "It wasn't your fault, they made you explode in wrath, so don't blame anyone but them." He took out a folder, placed it on the table and said, "We got a case, There's a vigilante, goes by the name of Shaiden." She opens the folder and says, "What? She looks 19, and she's 14?" Zorium looked at the picture and said, "I clearly just see a 14 year old girl, Deki are you sure you have expirience with girls?" "No...I was raised in hell, bunch of asses and mad people gambling and beating each other for fun." "I know that, I was born on a warzone, so I pretty much am nothing more than a warborn." Deki thought of soemthing and looked again, saying, "So about Shaiden over here, how do you expect befriend her on going on our side?" A commotion gets felt, big shakes in the ground, glass vibrating, everyone is panicking. Zorium and Deki ran below the table. Deki screamed to Zorium "Go and help out, while I take the people out of here!" Zorium asserts and runs outside. Hesiods and Equinox are panicking over the earthquake and Zorium slaps them both with just a strike of wind. "Is it hard to even follow your supervisor?" Hesiods and Equinox look say, "You're Lixwrath?!? Guardian of the Abso......" "Shut up, you talk too much!" Both followed him as building's windows cracked wide open, glass falling, people screaming and running from falling glass. Zorium becomes doubtful of who is he facing this time. Hesiods and Equinox just followed protocol and knew something was behind the earthquake. Equinox analized the situation and then said, "There's just a focus and no epicenter, this isn't average earthquake. Magic levels are changing drasticly more than usual, this isn't average criminal or beast, It's something else!" Zorium took notice of that and said, "Hesiods, look for heat signals at the top of each building." Hesiods started to accelerated at superspeed and had a magic red circle as a shadow that did not affect it in any way. As Hesiods ran aroun the city, saving people and looking for heat signals with his eyes, Equinox started to levitate with more running speed than Zorium. He was cuting falling rocks with brutal sword magic, impossible to look at how he did it. Zorium looked his watch and then looked right beside him and Hesiods appeared side him saying, "There's no heat signals on the skycrapers or any buildings." Zorium then reacted and said, "It's at the highest point in the city, and them whoever it is, is extremely low or magic locked. Separate, and look for the highest place with no magic." They asserted and separated to find the source of the earthquake. Zorium ran fast towards a dead end, and looked back and saw a hooded person with a bow, aiming at him. He walked slowly towards the person and says, "5 feet with 2 inches, average healthy person weight of 115 pounds, brown hair, striping down on the left side of the face, vibrant electric green eyes with a mixture of gold and blue particles, average magic density of an elite ranked magician, or to put it on the rpg perspective, level 27........What's that? A Simple reptile scaled wooden bow of 13.5 pounds of weight with a hydra-energized bow string that doubles potential energy, maximizing range and speed of the arrow, which is made of a magic wood, that has a tooth for a tip, and a dinasour feather for a wind pusher." The figure pulls the string with the arrow farther back, and Zorium stopped walking and said, "You must be Shaiden Hartlake, I'm suprised I found you roaming in the city for the hunting of today's prey." The figure lowered the bow and then said, "You forgot something...." He immediately says, "Goddamit, I never drank my goddamn hot chocolate, but I'm 13 blocks away from the coffee dinner I can't still pronounce the name place." The figured took down the hoodie and said, "I have a proper tittle you know." He then replies with, "Ah, almost forgetsble, Hooded Nightmare Huntress, am I on the right path?" She nods and says, "And if you were wondering......" He then interupts saying, "Yes I know you have been hunting me down for the past 15 hours and 6 minutes approximately." She simply raises the bow and pulls the string and aims at his face. He then says, "Show me what that bow is capable of." She shoots the arrow and he doesn't even move. The arrow passes slightly close to his cheek, and leave's a scratch. The girl smirks and says, "I wasn't trying and I scratched your face." He asserts and says, "I know that, now that I know all about the arrow, and the bow, and your way of shooting me, I'm inmune to it." She kinda looks at him with a serious look and says, "What in the means of the universe is that?" He slightly passes her and ignores the question. She gets a little pissed and takes another arrow and shoots him in the back. The arrow slows down midway and drops down. She gets upset and takes a knife and throws it at him. This time he simply dodged it while walking. He stops and says, "In basic elements logic, combination of elements is a natural obligation, assuming you haven't figured it out yet, I have the control over three elements, light, dark, and wind. If you haven't studied elements, I'm sure this is nonsense to ye'. But if you do know something about them, I assure you know that a combination of light and wind, makes possible a dermal enhanced sense of low rated photons, or an aura, which lets me feel whatever touches that area, and acts as a passive pusher, for all type of matter, including magic. So stop trying, I already can predict your moves by understanding and associating logic with hour throwing skill, few calculations won't hurt my dodgetime so by the time of your next move, you have absolitely nothing agaisnt me. Anyways, there's no point on fighting a pacifist." She growls and he leaves walking slowly towards the other path way he didn't went to. The girl, or Shaiden as he called her, put on the hoodie again and climbed the dead end's wall towards the roof. The earthquake and the replications had ended, soon to only be heard that buildings and many a sudden electricity wires where shut off loose. The broken buildings had taken their toll as for Zorium had understood to see that the aproximate time of recovery would be a week, however hospitals where going to be full to the brim dueingnthe next few days of crisis. Hence why he tried to aidnthe best he could. He kept walking began to think on how to assess the situation.
