Chapter IX - A newcoming forth

The four knights had their magics reawakened by the King, and only five people stood against them. Technically four people, but Zorium still in healing stood by them. The cloud's opened and revealed the black midnight sky. The moon glimmered with a blue and green look. Ignis still had the darkness of the night to her control, not much could be seen, only plains, the castle and the black thick sky with the stars, Zorium with the candle on hand said, "This is High-King Volgax's four knights of Redemption." Nathan with a curious look asked, "How do you know that?" Zorium blew the candle away and threw it away. A weird red circle had appeared on his back and he said while looking at Nathan "Simple, I trained them all." They all tried to understand but then continued. Shaiden took off her usual hoodie and tightened her hunting clothes. She looked at him and said, "You don't look old. You look like you are 22." Zorium started stretching his hands and said, "Perks of being fused with a dragon. I'll explain later." Hesiods put on some goggles and said, "Target in blue shade of armor is coming forth, the others are dematerializing, including Volgax, looks like they headed back to the castle." Shaiden used her psychic powers to link her mind with Nathan and Hesiods. She then thought. -Guys, follow my lead, I got a plan.- Hesiods then replied the thought, thinking, -The target looks like a Paladin, specifically the Blue knight of Cleanse, part of the four knights of redemption, as Zorium called them in general. Their strategic mind is said to be based of their conveniences in chances and current power, as recognized and told in the Books of Old Volume III.- Shaiden looked at both and started to sprint towards the blue knight. Nathan then opened his wings and glided towards her. -Raise you arm, I'll carry you. Hesiods, you follow and scout the target on the way.- He then grabbed her arm and lifted her up and held her arm as she hanged in the air. Hesiods ran behind them using his super speed while reading the target. The fairy then looked at the castle and said, "The castle is sealing itself. Volgax is gonna leave the castle there, with him inside it, only his magic can open it." Ignis looked at them saying, "So they are just gonna go and attempt to reason with the knight?" Zorium's circle on his back had glowed stronger. He tapped his neckmark. And a sudden morphing on his back happened and wings grew instantly on him. Ignis was kinda surprised, that they looked like a dragon's. "Didn't you had some sort of wings and lost them?" He summoned a mask for aerial protection and said, "I'll explain later." The fairy whispered something in Zorium's ear, and disappeared. Ignis heard a weird sound, and it was a signal from the console inside Headquarters. She went inside to check for and it was the console receiving high elemental signals coming from 3 different places. One from Belurk, one from Deltora, and one from Shunbun. She called Brody and told him to check on Shunbun with Equinox. Zorium had seen the signals and said he was going to Belurk to check it out. Ignis decided to check on Deltora with Deki and Asrion being over there.

Nathan was carrying Shaiden while she loaded her gun with some tubes with different colors. -What's that you got there?- thought Nathan while glancing the weird gun. Shaiden rolled the roulette and thought -It's special gun, made it from parts I found on my travels. Each colored tube in the roulette has a different types of bullets. The roulette holds only six tubes. This guy controls anything related to water, so I'll simply use 2 normal barrels, 1 cluster, and electric cannon barrel.- Hesiods then thought, -What about the Sixth slot?- Shaiden smirked and thought, -A secret barrel, really fiery.- They almost reached the Knight, who slowly rose himself up while a blue circle on his back appeared. The knight slowly pulled his hands up and chanted letters of incomprehensible language. A storm cloud covered the midnight sky, while Nathan's aerial movement slowed, due to the pace and speed of the winds. The knight opened his hands, and floating shards of ice, created by the rain, where sent to Nathan. Nathan simply moved side to side dodging some shards, not all of them. Shaiden used her light and created similar light shards with her right hand sent them towards the knight. The knight's aerial dodges were incredibly fast, but he got faster once he pulsed towards them. Nathan and Shaiden exchanged looks and nodded. Nathan tossed her up, making her flip. She somehow enlarged the dagger and landed a hit. She opened her eye and saw that he also blocked and attacked with his sword. On that moment, Hesiods knew, she was gonna fall. So he jumped and pushed her up again. Shaiden with no idea of what to do kept going upwards. Shaiden thought about her morphing abilities, so she tried to shape some wings with her hands and make herself a harpy. She succeeded, and managed to spin her wings spirally, and knock over the knight. The knight fell, and landed on his knee. Shaiden morphed back, and landed with sword in hand. Nathan landed and said, "Who are you? What's the purpose of attacking us?" The knight stood up and said, "Purpose of attacking thou? I never was going to attack, I simply took my blade to summon rain and cleanse the castle grounds with pure water, and recreate Lake Herpuia. Thou were in the way of the circle range so I was going to push thee outside the boundary." They all sheathed and Shaiden said, "That's what you are going to do!?!?" The knigh stabbed the ground with his sword and a circle with symbols started expanding from it. He then proceeds to say, "Indeed, that is my task. Thy can now move, the process takes lots of space." They all move back to the Headquarters and see as the knight create immersive amounts of circles that summon rainclouds above them and flowers bloom all around. And lots of grass covered a few brown spots. Many downhills where filled with water, and recreating what the knight called, Lake Herpuia. And the circles became light particles that flew around the wind. And the rain seized as the knight left the scabbard of the blade in front of it. He kneeled before it and gripped the hilt of the silver sword. Light particles sent through the air, as for the knight disappeared from existence, and he sealed his last remaining power to the blade and the land. The three went to the pedestal of said sword and saw ancient scribbles on the blade. Hesiods recognized these as Scottish Gaelic, language of old Isernia. And tried to decipher what it said. Shaiden knew what it said, but she didn't understand it, so she kept silent. Nathan was just thinking, what in the world was happening. They stood in front of what it was supposed to be, the tomb of the knight. The helm, the scabbard and the sword, left there, assembling a royal burial of oneself, since he was the one set his own death. A glimmering light pillar appeared over the sword, and a shimmering figure of the knight appeared over at the sword. "Young, new, and vast with power, traits of thy three. Thoust must keep together as a crusade, and defeat what is coming forth to this land. A test will come for thee, and no one else can save thou from this burden I give, protect this land and it's beings, it is my dying wish." The spirit shimmered and floated above, and with a smile, the face of the knight was smiling happy, like it was his last. The light disappeared and made everyone wonder, what the hell just happened? Nathan said, "He just died. And let us a burden. For literally, being here on the time he was rising from earth to Heaven. Does that make any sense?" Hesiods nodded saying, "Nope, not at all." Shaiden then thought, "We should be a team. And do awesome stuff, like beat bad guys." Hesiods then said, "Aren't we already doing that? I mean..." Nathan said, "I'm just here..." Shaiden said, "Let's make a pact. It'll be fun. For every mission we complete, we have to sit and eat ice cream a top the Claria Clocktower. Deal?" Nathan and Hesiods looked at each other and said, "Ok? I guess so." Shaiden started to run towards Headquarters to look for something to do. Nathan glided with a poker face trying to catch Shaiden who turned into something that was too fast to see. Hesiods ran around the castle and still caught up with Shaiden and passed her.
