They say that when a heart falls, partners who are arguing at that moment, are transported to the battlefield of love. Someone is injured, the other one helps, argument is forgotten. However, when your partner doesn't pick you up, you don't have any information, or any knowledge, on how to deal with the numbing pain that is caressing your body instead of the hands of the person you love. They don't tell you that if you are not picked up, you lay there, listening, to the explosions, while everyone else goes around their normal routine. One day someone will pick you up and help you away, but for now, you lie there with blood dripping down your face.
(Btw If you didn't already clock it, the explosions are metaphors for the arguments the couple is having)
