Elena's POV

I feel odd, I've been throwing up loads throughout the night..something that doesn't happen to vampires.
I feel nauseous and my belly feels like its swelling up.
I read online and these are the exact symptoms for something that is not possible for me...pregnancy.

Vampires can't get pregnant,but why else would I be feeling like this?

I'm gonna go to the doctors and find out what this is.

•at the doctors•

'Umm, I can't seem to find your pulse?' Said the doctor anxiously.

'That's because she's dead' replied Damon jokingly, then he compelled the doctor to ignore the fact that I had no pulse.

'So, what's wrong with her?' Said Damon

'She's pregnant' replied the doctor.

Elena POV

This can't be happening, I can't be pregnant?? It's not possible for a vampire to be pregnant! I'm not even technically alive!!!

Damon stood in shock as he tried to process what he had just learned.

After a confusing silence, Damon finally spoke up.

'I have no idea how this happened, or even if it is possible, but all I know is that I will support you 110% throughout this pregnancy. It's my dream to have a family with you, and this will give us just that.'

Tears creeped down Elena's cheeks, but she didn't try and cover them. Instead, she widened her arms and surrounded Damon in a warm embrace.

'I love you, Damon.'

'I love you too'

Damon and Elena left the hospital and set on the road back to mystic falls.

Elena wanted to tell Caroline and Bonnie right when she got back, and Damon wanted to tell Alaric and Jo.

As they reached the driveway of the Salvatore household, Damon intertwined his fingers with Elena's. They both stepped out of the car still holding onto each other.

They walked through the door only to find Caroline, Bonnie, Jeremy, Alaric and Jo waiting for them inside.

Caroline was first to speak up

'So, Damon told us you have an announcement for us?'

Elena looked at Her stomach, then looked at Damon and then back at all her friends and family.

'I'm pregnant' said Elena

Everyone was in utter shock and nobody said a single word for at least a minute.

'Is this a joke?' Said Jeremy with a serious expression on his face.

'I know this isn't possible, but somehow it has happened.'

'Oh my god Elena, I'm so happy for you' said Bonnie running into Elena's arms however being gentle near her stomach.

Caroline soon joined the celebratory hug followed by Jeremy.

Alaric walked over to Damon and patted his back, saying 'congratulations, you got the girl, don't screw it up.'

Everyone spent the rest of the night raving about the new baby and thinking of baby names. Elena told everyone she was going to get some rest when a figure appeared in the doorway.

'Congratulations, the ex love of my life and my brother having a baby, how wonderful.'
It was stefan.

Silence fell around the room

'So Elena, which one of us is the father?'
