Chapter: 25

IRIS P.O.V.

I woke up with a headache and on the couch, the last thing I remember was being thrown out of the window by Kol. I got up and looked around the living room and it was empty, it was dark outside so everyone must be asleep, I walked into the kitchen and was surprised to see Jeremy pouring himself milk in a bowl.

''Your awake'' I said 

''Yeah, I was waiting for you to wake up'' Jeremy said 

''You didn't have too'' I said sitting next to him on the counter

''But I wanted too'' he said 

''Thank you'' I said with a smile

''Your welcome'' he said 

''What cereal are you eatting'' I asked

''Trix'' Jeremy said 

''Trix are for kids'' I said laughing

''Hey, I am a kid'' he said 

''I wish I was like you, a kid'' I said

''Hey everyone in this house is no longer a kid'' he said 

''Yeah'' I said 

''Look we were destined to have this life'' Jeremy said 

''Has anyone told you your super positive'' I said 

''Never'' he said 

''Because you are'' I said 

''Yeah, don't worry about Kol'' he said 

''I dont think he'll ever come back'' I said 

Jeremy leaned in for a kiss and softly kissed me, the odd thing was I didnt push him away but kiss him back.

''Jeremy?'' I said 

''I'm sorry'' he said leaving the kitchen

I sat there, one moment we were talking and the next kissing, I touch my lips and walk out the kitchen and sit on the couch still thinking about Jeremy.

''Jeremy'' I whispered 

JEREMY P.O.V.

I ran out of the kitchen and into Elijah's room, all of the boys were asleep or thats what I thought

''Jeremy'' Elijah said from the shadows

''Elijah?'' I said 

I saw as he walked near the window

''Jeremy, I see your in love I was like you once and I still am'' Elijah said looking at me

''Elijah, I...'' I stuttered

''Don't say it was an accident, you know you wanted that kiss more then anything in the world'' Elijah said 

''She doesnt love me'' I said 

''She is like Elena, in between 2 boys who fight for her affection'' Elijah said 

''Iris doesnt want me'' I said 

''Thats what you may think, she may love my brother but now that has all changed because of that kiss, she is starting to question her love and later on she will be in the middle just like Elena, not being able to choose, the vampire or the hunter'' Elijah said 

With that Elijah walked out of the room leaving me speechless.
