JEREMY P.O.V.

I walked into the room with more logic in my mind and I knew Damon was right, everything he just told me was true I couldn't live forever I couldn't be Iris Superman I could bearly defend Elena and I risk my life almost near death imagine protecting Iris from all the witches, hybrids, hunters, and vampires that might come for her in the future. She walked towards me with worried and sad eyes, she tried to hug me but I pushed her away knowing this was for the best.

"Don't listen..." she began to sat softly

"Damon is right, I am going to die and you arent, and your best option is him" I said pointing at kol who was strapped to a metal chair.

"I love both of you equally" Iris said

"3 people can never be in love equally its impossible" I said

"Jeremy" Iris said

"Let's get kol back" I said quickly

"Okay" she managed to say

I looked at Elijah who seemed to have been the only one hearing the discussion, Elijah looked away quickly and focused on Kol.

"Kol" Lexi said

Kol looked at us with a smirk.

"Kol?" Iris said quietly

"Iris hmmm.. Ive heard your with the Gilbert" Kol said looking at me with cold eyes

"You don't love me anymore...." Iris said

"Who said I didn't love you anymore?" Kol said

"You showed it when you threw me out the window" Iris said

"I never meant for that to happen" Kol said with a change of tone

"I'm with Jeremy now" Iris said grabbing my hand

"Your not with him OK, know your not.. " Kol nodded his head

"And why not?" Iris said

"Iris... you know why?" Kol said

"Why" Iris said

"Because I love you, for eternity I have never loved but now that has all changed" Kol said

"Focus Kol on one emotion, remember she still loves you" Lexi said

"Focus Kol" Elijah said

For a moment Kol was slumped down on his chair unmoving then he began to laugh he looked at us with laughter but then they turned to tears. Lexi and Klaus release Kol and Iris runs into his arms. I just look at there happy moment and wished it was me.

IRIS P.O.V.

Kol hugged me tight and cried for a couple of minutes and whispered to me that he loved me and would never stop loving me. He finally let's me go and everyone seems happy then Stefan talks.

"Kol" Stefan said

"Yes" Kol said

"What emotion did you latch on?"Stefan asked

Kol turned to look at Jeremy, his quickly flashed in front of Jeremy and breaks his neck. All the girls scream.

"Jealousy, of course" Kol said taking everyone by surprise
