Chapter: 35

IRIS P.O.V

Finally I felt at peace, I didn't have a dagger being stick into my ribs billions of times. I had been placed in a guest bedroom, Angelus told me he would come up to the room to tell me something important. Sure enough Angelus walked in about 10 minutes later holding a white box and was wrapped with a gold sparkling bow. I looked at him and I know my eyes gave me away.

"I'm not gonna hurt you,  I promise " Angelus said sincerely

"Then what do you want from me? " I asked

"I want you for 2 purposes the first one is well you're blood is the cure and second I need someone to love I want you" Angelus said

Angelus faced me,  I could feel his breathing,  shivers went down my spine as he lend towards me his lips nearing, before I could push him, his lips crashed with mine.  I was shocked at the moment we were sharing, his lips were soft and sweet,  for some reason I just wanted to kiss him forever and I immediately push him away.

"What's wrong? " he asked

"You've done something, a spell to make me love you " I said connecting the dots,  sweet lips, and the thoughts in my head, definitely a love spell.

"Maybe I did,  but you can't do anything about it" he said

That's when I felt the urge to kiss him,  I tried to stop it,  but it didn't work,  I neared him and kissed Angelus,  he also kissed back the kiss was passionate but I knew I didn't love him. His lips began to kiss my neck, I moaned loudly,  he tilted my neck slowly and he inserted a shot with blue liquid.

"What are you...? " I said but I forgot what I was going to say.

"They will fall for it easily " Angelus said

KOL P.O.V.

"You love her" Rebekah said

The two of us sat in the kitchen alone while the others thought of an other plan sadly Bonnie and Danika couldn't reach Iris , Rebekah had called me to come and talk and apologize what had happened back at home.

"Of course I do, Rebekah" I said

"Kol, I'm truly sorry you know that when a opportunity comes to become human again I will take it but I would never hurt one of my brothers for the cure even though all of you are annoying " Rebekah said smiling through tears

"If Klaus were here he would begin to laugh at the nonsense but deep inside we know he feels the same "  

"Niklaus, his gonna be fine " Rebekah said

"Yeah, I'm more.. " I said but never finished my sentence, when a knock came from the door

Quickly Rebekah and I run to the living room, everyone seemed to have stopped what they were doing and focused there attention at the door. I waked slowly towards the door and turned the door knob. I quickly open it and a fresh breeze of air hits my face, no one was outside except a envelope on the floor, I picked it up and walked back inside with the others.

''What is it?'' Stefan asked

''I don't know'' I said

''Open the envelope'' Caroline said

I looked at the envelope and carefully opened it, everyone gathered around me.

''It's an invitation'' Elena said confused

''Angelus is hosting a ball'' Elijah said

''Really, that's stupid'' Damon said

''No, it's clever, he knows were gonna go because of Iris, it's a trap'' I said

"So what do we do, not go" Jeremy said

"We go but we have to be prepared and know what to expect " Stefan said

"Well we should get ready " Jeremy told Matt

"Your not going " Damon told Jeremy and Matt

"Damon is right, we can't afford to lose more people " Elena said

"I'm also talking to you, only vampires should go,  killable people stay here" Damon said

"Fine" Elena reluctantly said

"Now we should make a plan to try to at least save Klaus or Iris " Rebekah said

"Alright " Stefan said

"We need masks,  it's a masquerade ball" I said looking at the invitation

We began to assign everyone who was going to the ball a task, we had all agreed to the plan and quickly got dressed.  We ended up leaving the house at 9 p.m.

"So now what? " Caroline said

We all look at the huge mansion,  people were still arriving so we quickly get in line and wait,  finally after 10 minutes we walked into the room and gasped,  there were alot of people.

"There all vampires " Danika whispered to us.

"Were going to be fine,  as long as we don't cause attention " I said

"Our guests of honor just arrived " the cold sarcastic voice said

"Angelus " Lexi said

The original family, the Salvatore brothers, a Lockwood,  Forbes,  Benette,  and oh.. " Angelus said as his eyes landed on Anabelle

"Iris is your doppelganger,  a surprise " Angelus said

"Where is she" I asked

"Enjoy the party " Angelus said as he disappeared into the crowd

"He won't strike now" Elijah said

"Why don't we dance" Tyler told Caroline

They left us there,  then we began scattering, going to dance or to the bar,  I stood there alone and beside me was Anabelle.

"Wanna dance" she asked me

"Fine" I said

We walked to the dance floor and we began to dance slowly.

"KOL? "she asked

"Yes" I said

"Will we ever... " Anabelle asked

"No" I quickly said

"Why not? " she asked

"Because I know longer love you" I said cruely and walked away leaving her standing alone in the dance floor.

ANABELLE P.O.V

I hate that bitch, Iris,  everyone cares to much about her including Kol, what makes her so damn special.  I wanted to get rid of her and right now it seems a perfect time to do it, I was going to help Angelus,  he wants her he can have her,  now I just need to convince him that I am on his side because I am.
