Chapter 4 - Separation

upon the arrival of the team in the south dead end of Water Corporation Road, they suddenly spotted Shinohara blindfolded with a gun held against her back by a mercenary. "alright, everyone. take positions" Jack whispered to the men as they scattered to take position as he said. Jack gently approached what seems to be a hand-off where Shinohara could be sold to a group of strange cultists. he cocked his bullpup rifle and aimed at the mercenary holding Shinohara as the others aimed at the rest of the enemy team. "ready to fire on my go" he whispered to his team through his radio then suddenly shot the mercenary in the head as the other men sniped off half of the group. the cultists were alerted and Jack popped out of cover and shot them all and took Shinohara away from the area. the escape was going as they planned but another group of mercenaries suddenly ambushed the british soldiers, killing most of the snipers with only Jack, Shinohara and Brown. they separated as only the two of them took the front jeep and drove away while Brown ran from the area

5 minutes later...

"i think we lost them..." Jack sighed of relief. "who are you?" Shinohara asked him. "Lieutenant Jack Parsons, British Military" Jack responded. "you're Shinohara, right?" he asked. "yes, i'm Yukino Shinohara" she responded to Jack. "good, we're supposed to get you outta here" Jack said to Yukino.
