Chaper 13.5: Xavier

I could not take my eyes off of her when i pulled back from our kiss, it was magical, wonder full and it felt completely right...

I just kept staring at her almost like we were in our own perfect little world and no one else around us mattered... well it was almost like that until her mother started screaming and demanding to know what was going on.

"What do you mean you'll marry him and stop fighting, Adelaide? are these the people who took you? i don't understand!" her mother said looking at anyone who she thought would give her answers.

"Just take her back, please. and make sure she doesn't go running to my father or my sister with her discovery, not that i think they will believe her, or even give her the time of day... but just to be sure... i don't want them knowing about me, they have enough trouble already without her planting stories in their heads of me still being alive... i prefer for them to stay in blissfull ignorance" she told me

The word " trouble" and the way she said it, with such sadness created a desire in me to help them, for her, so that she may feel that, in a way she helped them too.

"I can help ease their troubles, my dear. i will deposit a quarter of a million into both your father and sister's bank accounts. That will help them and maby it would make you feel better as well." i said looking deep into her eyes, knowing behind my own eyes hid a smile

when she just stared at me with grate fullness and tears in her eyes i wished i had a camera to always remember the first look she gave me, that didn't scream hatred.

"Thank you." she breathed and stood on her tiptoes to give me another kiss.
