WARNING – ANXIETY ATTACKS

Everything was closing in; the people were surrounding me, staring me like I was nothing, judging me. Their faces seemed to come into focus and I realized It was everyone I knew; it was Clarke, Monty, Bellamy, my boyfriend Jasper, my family, the 100, the people from the ark. I tried getting away from them but they wouldn't let me through; they all starting closing in on me, my breathing started becoming more rapid, my chest was burning and a churning feeling formed in my stomach. Darkness surrounded me as I felt everyone's judging eyes on me,
I suddenly bolted awake, falling of my bed; my breath was becoming more rapid by the minute, I was struggling to breath, tears were running down my cheeks,
"Gabi!" I heard someone say in the distance "Gabi you need to breath!" everything was distorted "Gabi, I'm right here, it's all right babe" my vision started coming into focus "in and out babe, do it with me, in and out" I felt someone's arms wrapped around me and I finally realized I was sitting, curled up in Jasper's lap on the floor next to our bed,
"Breath with me babe" I heard him say "in and out, deep breath Gabi" I tried matching his breaths. My rapid breaths turned into deep slow ones following the rhythm of Jasper's own ones.
"It's alright baby, you're okay." He said in a soothing voice, running his fingers through my hair.
"Come on let's go back to bed" he said picking me up tiredly as I nodded, not being able to form any words, thankful that I had such a wonderful boyfriend to help me through me anxiety attacks.
