I sat on my bed reading 'a tale of two cities' waiting for my husband, Bellamy to come home from work when I got the call. Everything was moving in slow motion, I dropped the phone trying to process what I just heard. Reality suddenly hit my like a truck and I jumped out of bed running through my house and out the front door. I hopped into my car not caring I was only in my pyjamas. I made it to the hospital in less than five minutes, most likely getting a few speeding tickets on the way. I ran through the doors of the hospital running up to the front desk,

"I'm looking for Bellamy Blake" I spoke breathlessly to the nurse,

"Gabi!" I heard a familiar voice call, I turned away from the nurse to find a tired Octavia standing in front of me "He's in surgery at the moment, come with me" she spoke, defeated

"Is he going to be okay?" I whimpered,

"Of course he is going to be Gabi, He's Bellamy Blake, and he's a fighter" she smiled sadly, hugging me before sitting down on the couch in the waiting room, I sat down beside her burying my head in my knees,. Hours passed by and one by one each of our friends and family showed up. Octavia stood up to great each one but I could barely process what was happening let alone greet our friends. The tears rolling down my cheeks finally stopped but the pain in my heart was on going. I felt everyone around me all suddenly stand up. I took my head out of my knees and looked up seeing that a nurse had entered the room with a sorrowful expression, my heart sank as I stood up waiting for the news.

"I'm sorry but he didn't make it" I felt my legs buckle from underneath me. I fell to the floor, my heart shattered into a million pieces, tears flooded my cheeks.

"No please bell come back" I whispered barely, choking on my own tears. "I need you"
