I told Logan what happened. I left out the part another Cade kissing me though. Logan would never forgive me for that.

I told Logan that Cade had made me mad and that I ran into the forest out of anger. Logan seemed to believe it, so I was in the clear.

I look down at my hands and notice that they are caked with dry blood.

"Hey Logan," I say, "do you know where I could wash my hands?" I hold up my bloody hands. Logan nods.

"There's a river nearby," he tells me, "but you'll have to walk there."

"Okay," I reply, "which direction is it in?" I stand up, and flinch. Logan helps me get the rest of the way up.

"It's five minute walk west," Logan tells me, "Are you sure you don't want me to go with you?"

"I'm sure," I say.

I go to the door which is more of a trap door, since Logan had been living in a treehouse. I climb down the latter, and start waking towards the river.
