Rocking wakes me up, then a whistle. Train. Wait. How did I get on a train?

I'm in a chair with a rope around my torso. In the chair behind me is Aster.

"Well look who's awake," says one of the men.

"So," says the same man, "do you know why you're here?" I bite my lip. The truth is I don't. I don't have any idea why I am here or what they want from me.

"Don't answer any of their quest-"

BOOM!!

Heat fills the room. The train goes flying off the track and rolls three times. The fire sizzles off the ropes, but I'm afraid that now I'll go everywhere. Finally the train skids to a stop. I can't move.

Smoke fills the air and I can barely see. But what I do see makes me cry scream.

Aster lies on the ground, not moving. A metal pole goes in his back and out his stomach. His shirt is coated in blood and he is frowning.

I scramble over to him and check his pulse. He's not breathing. Aster is dead.
