My head stirs and the I am snapped into reality. I am tied to the tree again, but this time, Aster is tied down next to me.
"Aster," I whisper, "Aster. Wake up." I try to shake him awake, but I can't move.
Finally Aster wakes up.
"Sage," he starts to say but I shush him.
"We have to find a way out of here," I explain, "you got any ideas?" Aster reaches down to his belt and pulls out a dagger. His dagger.
Aster stars to cut the ropes, and soon he is free. He walk over to me and starts to cut.
With no warning, the two men start to wake up.
"Hurry Aster," I say. Aster works faster. Finally he has me free.
Suddenly, the men get up.
"HEY!" One shouts, "what do you think you're doing?"
Aster and I look at each other and say the same word at the same time.
"Run!"
