Hi, my name is Jessica Cassidy and I'm 18 years old.
Ever since I was about 6 I wanted to be a singer.
I live with my Mum and sometimes my Dad when he is home because he works away most of the time, which is sad because I miss my Dad a lot but he has to work away to keep his job and keep the money coming in.
I live in Newcastle and I love every minute! When I was younger I didn't like it, everyone sounded weird.
I'm going to audition for the X Factor today and I hope it goes well because if it does I can have a shot at being a singer.
