"You're more than an hour late. Where the hell have you been? You had me worried sick! Have you watched the news lately? You can't just do that."
"Sorry."
"Apology accepted. I made steak and baked potatoes today, but your coffee got cold. Want me to warm it?"
"Um... No coffee for me tonight. Thank you for the meal but I'm not hungry."
"Oh. May I ask why you're dressed so nice?"
"I have some places I need to be. The only reason I came here was to ask you to shred the letter I gave you. I really don't want Daniel to see it anymore."
"Sure, I can do that."
"Thanks."
"So, I guess that means things worked out between you and Daniel then?"
"Yeah. Something in between those lines."
"Well... I wish you two the best, I guess."
