Dear Dawn,
It's going to take longer than I thought to be next to you again. My flight was cancelled and just as I was about to give up, a group of people in a van confused me for a hitchhiker and offered me a ride in return for partial gas money. They're all going to Tennessee too, but it's by car which will take forever. As I stare out of the window I can't help but smile when I realize that you saw the exact same scenery before me and rode through the same roads. I can't imagine how scared you must've been, I still question why you left though.
I called earlier, but your boss said you weren't there and wouldn't give me your phone number because I didn't want to say who I was. I'm not angry about that, I'm happy that you have a good boss who respects your privacy. Although it would've been easier if he would've just given it to me.
Love,
Ian :)
