Uneasy feelings

(GD's POV)

".....Who are you?"

I stood still for a second, then I gave a small laugh.

Mo yah, is she trying to prank me?

I pat her head.

"Haha very funny Ayu ah.."

She just keeps staring at me. Slowly, she pulls my hand away from her head.

"Don't...touch me..."

I was shocked.

Did she really lose her memory?!?

The doctor comes in.

"Who's the guardian of Ayu shii?"

I stood up.

"I'm her boy-" I stop talking.

"I'm...her close friend."

The doctor nods as he asks me to follow him.

"So...what's wrong with Ayu?"

I clench my hands on my jeans.

Please..don't let it be amnesia.....

The doctor looks at me with a serious but gentle expression.

"She....has amnesia."

My heart dropped.

The doctor fixes his glasses as he quickly says:

"But it is not permanent. Her memories may come back to her, but we don't know when."

My hands were shaking in fear. I didn't know what to do.

The doctor continues.

"She does remember some people, but she does not remember most."

I nod. The doctor finishes speaking and we both head to the room. As I slid open the door, the first thing I hear is Ayu's voice as she says:

"Top...oppa?"

As much as I was surprised, Top was as well as he leans down on Ayu's bed, holding Ayu's hands.

"Ayu ah, you remember me?"

She looks at Top smiling.

"Kind of.....what kind of relationship am I in with you....oppa?

Top looks at me then he looks back at Ayu.

"We're lovers."

(Ayu's POV)

I didn't know who he was.

He just kept staring at me for a second, then he starts laughing nervously.

"Haha very funny Ayu ah...." he says as he pats my head.

I felt uncomfortable with him touching my head, so I push it off.

"Don't....touch..... me" I say still feeling very confused.

The way he stared at me looked like he was about to break apart. He looks away, putting a hand to his face looking like he was in pain.

As the doctor comes in and asks who my guardian was, the person stands up and almost shouts out.

"I'm her boy-"

He stops. He looked like he was hesitating over something, but I didn't know what.

He smiles sadly.

"I'm........her close friend."

He leaves the room, giving me one last look of sadness.

I grab my hair in my hands.
