The cafe

I decided to go and look around town, its getting to boring and lonely at the cemetery.I pack my suitcase and head to main street.Its been two weeks since I ran away and I haven't heard anything from my dad, and the police aren't looking for me.I wonder if he just doesn't care.He probably think I'll go running home since I "can't" take care of myself.

The first store I went into was called Only Bamboo.They sold everything one hundred percent bamboo. They sold sweaters,socks, pillow cases, bed spreads,and shirts.I bought a soft green sweater and a pair of socks.After I paid I put the bag in my suitcase and headed to another shop I found the other day. Its called The Sock Loft. They sell cute socks, with Frogs, deers, ducks, cats, bears, the British flag,ect.I didn't buy anything because I just bought some bamboo socks.I always feel bad when I leave a store and don't buy anything.

The last stop of the day was a little cafe.I sat at the bar and ordered a small hot chocolate and a banana muffin. While I wait I text my friend Lia,I felt bad because I had my phone off all day and she was getting worried.I hear the door open and I finish my text before I look up. Two people come to the bar and sit next to me. The blonde boy and his dad.The waiter brought my banana muffin and hot chocolate while they ordered I say the boy glance over at me. Then his dad noticed me. He whispered something to the boy and he nodded.

"Ah, so your the girl from the cd shop" the man said, looking over casually at me.

I just nod, sipping my drink.The man smiles and says " my son told me about you.He wouldn't shut up about how good you were at singing and playing" The boy simply looks at his dad, and I blush and glance down quickly, hoping they didn't see. The man laughs to himself and nudges his son causing him to move closer to me.I blush and say "thanks"

The dad smiles at me, and the son gives me a small smile and blushes.
