04. We Meet Again

*SATURDAY MORNING *
R I L E Y
I was peacefully asleep until i felt something fall on top of me! It was Auggie !
"Auggie what are you doing?" I said
"Riles its 11:30 am and mom said to wake you up because she has an announcement !" He said
"Ugh. Okay tell mom ill be down in five!" I said as he smiled
I had put on my bunny slippers and just brushed my teeth!
"Good morning mom && dad" i said as I yawned and rubbed my eyes
"Good morning Riley we have a vistor !" He said
"This is Mrs. Friar" my dad said
"Hello nice to meet you! I hope you don't mind I brought along my son " she said as she shaked my hand
"Not at all but may I ask Were is he ?" My dad said
"He had forgotten his phone in the car and went to go get it! He should be here any moment!" She said as she smiled
She seemed really nice & she was quite beautiful! She had green eyes and blonde hair. It made me remember about---
Someone knocked on the door which made me forget my train of thought. I imagined it to be Ms. Friar's son.
My dad went and opened the door.
"Hello-- oh No! No! No! " my dad said as he looked at me
"Oh hello sir we meet again!" He said
"What do you mean again Lucas?" Said his mom
"I bumped into Riley and her father at the fair last week!" He said
Omg he remembered my name.
"Hello Lucas!" I said as i smiled
"Hello Riley so we meet again && by the way i love your bunny slippers !" He said laughing. Darn I had forgetten that i looked like a potato.
"Pumpkin, Lucas' mom will be working in our store, Topanga's ! Since she recently moved from Texas " My mom said
"Oh well i guess that means i will be seeing you quite often then Ms.Friar" i said
" please sweetheart call me Lilah" she said
"Riles they will be staying for dinner in the mean time you should show Lucas around! Will that be okay with you Lucas ?" My mom said
"It'll be fine. Can i go mom?" He said and his mom had smiled and nodded
"Great let me get changed !" I said with a big smile
*25 minutes later*
Lucas and I had just left my place!
" so Lucas how do you like it here so far?" I said
"It quite wonderful but I just get home sick sometimes because NYC and Texas are so different" He said

"How so?"

"well for their are way more people here and buildings and less animals  you know?"

" I see! Well Lucas its always okay to feel homesick! Now were would you like to go?" I said

"Take me to your favorite place in NYC!" He said

I nodded and headed back home!
"Why are we back at your house?" He said confused
I stayed quiet and brought him on top of the roof!
"Here we are!" I said as I pointed out to the view
"Wow this is an amazing view " he said
" i like to come out here often when i need to be alone or think" i said
" its more beautiful at night!" I kinda laughed
He smiled and had looked straight into my eyes which caused me to turn red!
"Wow! You have the same eyes as your mom!" I said with a smile
"Thank you! & you have the same bright smile as your mom!" He said which made me turn in to a tomato .
We stayed quiet and just looked at the view until my mom came up.
"Oh good your here. Sweetie Jason is here!" She said

I was really hoping that Lucas and Riley hit it off! You might think what Topanga your crazy they just meet ? But i saw the way she looked at Lucas and the way Lucas looked at Riles! It reminded me of the first time i had meet Cory . Cory also knows that i am right but he is just scared of his little girl getting hurt ! I honestly do not like this Jason guy but as long as my little girl is happy i am happy as well.
