12. What Happened?

ROWANS POV (NEXT DAY)
I woke up and changed not wanting to go to school because i kissed Lucas and was worried of how we will act together.

*flashback to after the kiss*

"Wow sunshine!" He said with a smirk

"Sorry . I don't know what got into me I might have gone with the moment you kn--" i said until i was interrupted by him smashing his lips on to mine!

"Oh gosh huckleberry and peaches seem to be a little to friend!" Said Maya

"That was one of the nicest way to
shut me up!" I said

"Sunshine this is a memory i will remember forever " he said as we continued to dance!

After the dance he had taken me home. And gave me a goodnight hug !

*end of flash back*

"Good morning Riley!! " My mom said as she barged into my room.

"Good morning mom" i said

"Hello Matthews!" Said Maya coming threw my window!

"Hello Peaches " I said so happy

"Someones in a good mood!" My mom said

"Is it because of what happened at the dance?" Maya said

"What happened?" She said

"Nothing mom its like i told you yesterday. I had an amazing night because I was with my best friends!" I said trying to hint maya that I didn't tell my mom about the kiss

"Riles just tell her!" Maya said

"I KISSED lucas" i said trying to lower my voice when i said lucas

"You kissed LUCAS!" My mother said

"What she kissed lucas!!" My dad said as he was coming to my room.

I looked over to see Maya laughing

"Bye got to go!" I said as i took Maya by the arm and my backpack

"Were gonna have a talk when you come from school!" My dad said

*SCHOOL*

I was trying to avoid talking to Lucas because I feel like things with us will change ! I went to my locker to get my books. And there he was Mr.Perfect.

"Hey Sunshine!" He said

"Hey Lucas!" I said

"We should all meet up today at Topanga's  " he said referring to Maya, Farkle, Zay, maybe Josh, and us

"Yes I would love that! I will go tell Maya!" I said as i was heading to my class

"Hold up Riley. Maybe we can go out tomorrow and catch a movie! Like just us?" He said

"I'd love to! But I would have to ask my parents and then let you know!" I said

"Ok thats ok! Just let me know!" He said as he leaned close to as if he was going to kiss my cheek!

But my father had saw us and carried me into his class and Lucas just laughed!

Suprisingly we had a full conversation without making it awkward which made me feel relieved! But i still had one question on my mind through all this.
