I had just gotten to school and i was talking to Zay. Zay and I had been friends since the 2nd grade. He had gotten suspended about a month ago and was transferred. So i told him he should come here to NYC I have not introduce him to Riley or Maya or Farkle.

"So Lukey are you going to ask her out?" Zay said

"who?" i said

"Riles . I think that is her name. I've been hearing rumors that you guys are an unofficial couple." he said

Do not get me wrong. i want to ask her to the dance because I actually think i have feelings for her but the thing is i cannot fall for her. I would not deserve her. I have my reasons why and i hope they stay a secret.

"shes my friend and You just got here how could you possibly know about her?" i said as I was interrupted by a guy.

"Hello Friar" he said

"Hello guy's name i don't know" i said

"the names Charlie and I just wanted to let you know that I will be asking Riley out for the dance" he said and he was about to walk away

"What if i want to ask her!" i said

I guess i got mad that he was going to ask her because i wanted to.

"well then i guess we have to see who will she say yes to" he said and walked away

"so hold up. Do you like her or not. Because buddy your giving me mixed signals" Zay said but before i could answer Riley and Maya came.

"Hello Lucas. Whos your new friend?" Riley said

"Riley and Maya this is Zay my Texas best friend" I said

"nice to meet you Ranger Roy." Maya said

"so I'm Ranger Rick and Zay is Ranger Roy" i said and Maya nodded

*bell rings*

"come on we all have History " Maya said

"Um Mr.Matthews can I speak to you privately?" i said and he nodded

we went outside of the classroom

"would it be okay if i asked Riley to the dance tomorrow?" i said

"wow Lucas I would say no but you asked for my blessing so im going to say yes" he said

"Thank you Mr. Matthew" i said as i headed back

" Look Riley i bet Ranger Rick and your father are talking about you." i said

"what no they are not" Riles said

I could not say anything else because they had came back inside. I like Lucas for Riley. I mean Riley looks at Lucas like how i look at Josh. I just do not have full trust with Lucas yet.

"ay Ranger RIck" i said whispering to him

"yes Maya?" he said

"Meet me by the gym at Lunch we got some talking to do!" I said

"Um okay what is it about" he said

"about Ms.Bunnies" i said as i tried pointing towards Riles who was reading her book

*at Lunch*

"Riles go with Farkle i need to ask the art teacher a personal question" i lied but she fell for it and left

i waited for him for about 2 minutes.

"ok so i know your going to ask out riley to the dance" i said

"how could you know if i just told Mr.Matthews" he said

"Oh i know everything! anyways if your going to ask her you have to put in effort and also if this dance leads to something more bigger or serious i want you to know that if you hurt her in any way i swear i will kill you" i said as i got mad

"yea i know i already got a plan on how to ask her. and do not worry Maya i care about Riley a lot i would never do anything to hurt her. Now if you excuse me i need to call my mama ." he said

"wait why?" i said

"you'll see its all part of the way im going to ask Riley to the dance. Can you make sure she goes to Topanga's at 4:30" he said

"yes! now i have to get back to my peaches" i said
