18. Dinner

L U C A S

I had waken up around 11:00 am since I spent the night talking on the phone with Riley till 1 am.

"Good morning Lucas! How was your late night talk? " my mom said as one of her eyebrow lift up!

"Oh you heard? Sorry I was going to sleep early but I was just really happy to finally get things off my chest and ask out Riley that I needed to talk to her!" I said as I poured myself some cereal

"Oh you guys are finally together? Im really glad to hear that." She said while cleaning up the table

"Would it be okay if I invited the Matthews over dinner tonight?" She said

"Yeah. What for ?" I said

"To thank them for giving a good job and to thank Riley for making my son happy!" She said

"You don't have to thank Riley! I will thank her myself !" I said with a smirk

DINNER

I was helping my mom fix up the table! She made her famous barbecue ribs!

Knock knock

"Mom be cool!" I said and she nodded

"Hello Mr. & Mrs. Matthews. Hello Auggie & Josh. Hello princess!" I said as I grabbed Rileys hand and interwind them with mine.

"Hello babe." She said as she lightly kissed my lips

"Oh come on princess you can do better than that!" I said

"Lucas my parents are here!" She said

"Mom im going to show Riley around and then well be in reading room! " i said

The reading room wasn't really a room! It is a second living room but we made it into a reading room since my mom likes to read!

"Okay but not funny business young man!" My mom said

"Okay ! " i said

I grabbed Rileys hand and began the tour. We finally got to the reading room .

I sat down on an armchair!

"Wow your house is lovely!" Riley said as she sat on my lap

"Thank you princess!" I said

She had then put her arm around my neck and began to kiss me ! Every time I kissed her it feels like it is the first time I've kissed her.

We continued to kiss which led into a makeout session! I had placed my hand on her thigh not to high up and she smiled while still kissing me. We pulled away and she placed her head on my chest as I played with her hair.

"Princess?" I said

"Yes?" She said

" do you know how much i like you? " i said and she giggled

"Your such a dork!" She said as she lifted up her head and gave me a small kiss

*after dinner*

We had went back into the reading room . I needed to go to the bathroom so i left Riley on the armchair.

Once i came back i saw Riley asleep so peacefully. I covered her up and thought to myself "how'd I get this lucky?" I kissed her forehead as I went to tell Mr.Matthews

"Um Mr.Matthews?" I said

"Yes Lucas?" He said

"Riley fell asleep so I thought I should tell you ." I said as i see Auggie passed out on his lap.

"Oh thank you Lucas." He said

I think Mr. Matthews is starting to like me.

" we should get our pumpkin and auggie and head home. Josh can you get Riley?" Topanga said

I showed Josh the way and he carried her bridal style.

"I told you she wouldn't hate you!" He said

"Yea thank you Josh!" I said

"No thank you for making my Niece a happy princess!" He said as he headed out!

"Thank you for having us over!" Topanga said as she headed out

"Ok Lucas help me clean up so you can go to sleep!" My mom said as I laughed!
