Chapter 1

Melodie's POV:

"Mahogany?" I yell from the top of the stairs.

"Yeah?" She yells back.

"Have you seen my iPod?" I say walking into the kitchen.

"Yeah, I think I saw you leave it in Nash's car yesterday." She said taking a bite of the cookie she had in her hand.

Christian was one of my best friends. When ever we had events together, we would always goof off together and cause trouble. Not bad trouble, just messing with the other guys and Mahogany. He was like a brother to me. The day before he had taken us to the movies, cause we had all been dying to see 'Civil War: Captain America' . Naturally most of the guys came with us, which led to some fans seeing us. I love our fans, they always know how to make my day and make me smile. After the movie, I had fallen asleep on Camerons's lap and apparently left my iPod on the seat when we were dropped off.

"Alright, I'll just have to get it later. What's on the agenda today?" I say sitting on the counter.

"Well," She said before swallowing the part of cookie in her mouth. "All the guys, wanted to get together and go to the beach later today."

"Yay! I've been really wanting to go to the beach!" I say smiling. "But I need a new bathing suit, could we go a little early so I could buy a new one?"

"Sure lets go right now." She said picking up her phone, and slipping it into her back pocket.

"Ok." I say hopping off the counter, grabbing my purse and phone, then heading out the door.

~ Skip getting into the car ~

"She's got both hands

In her pocket

And she won't look at you

She hides true love

We sing at the top of our lungs. We dance around, singing, as Mahogany drives to the mall.

"Alejandro!" We scream dramatically as we pull into the parking lot. The music is on full blast and the beat in pounding in my heart. I always loved it when I could fell the beat, it was a part of me.

"Alright, you go find a swim suit. I'm going to go get us some Starbucks. Ok?" She said putting the car into park.

"K!" I say hopping out, and running to the entrance.

Just as I was about to open the door, Mahogany honked, so I turned around and blew a kiss dramatically. As I opened to door, I ran into someone. Typical. I had landed right on top of them, so I quickly looked up, before quickly getting off. I burst out laughing, as soon as I saw who it was. A very confused Aaron. He saw it was me, and started laughing too.

"What's up Melodie?" He said standing up, still smiling.

"Nothing much, just getting a new bathing suit. What about you?" I say

"I was just about to head back to my car, I forgot my wallet." He said, blushing a little.

"Are you here by yourself?" I ask, pushing a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"Yep. You?" He said.

"Yep." I say, popping the 'p'.

We both laugh, and look around the entrance before looking back at each other.

"Well... after you get your wallet, do you want to be my shopping buddy?" I ask.

"Sure. I'll meet you at the food court." He said, before pushing through the main door, walking into the parking lot.

I walk over to one of the stores and start looking at the bathing suits. After having 3 on my arm, I go to the dressing room.

First one, heck no.

Second one, why did I pick this?

Last one, wow this is ugly.

Well that was productive, I think as I make my way to the food court. I spot Aaron on a bench, he head is down, looking at his phone. His back was facing me, so I snuck up behind him.

"Hey Melodie." He says as I'm just about to scare him.

"How did you see that I was behind you?" I say sitting next to him.

"I didn't see you, I smelled your perfume." He said smelling the end of my t-shirt sleeve. I laughed, and almost fell off the bench backwards. But Aaron caught my arm, and swung me up again.

"Careful." He said, trying to contain his laughter.
