We went to class together. Now that Daimon had my number and saw me there was no way I was leaving Lucas's side no matter what. We came to class late but we got excused since we were talking to Mr. Fuller.
After more boring classes school ended. We got home and there was a knock on the door. Lucas took off the handcuffs then opened the door. It was Marcus he came inside.
"Melissa" he said
"Yes" I answered
"I was watching you but then it stopped what happened to your phone"
"Well Daimon got my number and texted me so since I got nervous I dropped my phone and it broke. I don't even think I need one I'm never on it"
"Ok but we realized that your phone will go through issues so heres a bracelet"
"A bracelet?" I questioned him
"Yes you like it, it even has a tracking device in it"
"So it's cool and pretty okay" I said as Lucas put the bracelet on me.
"So I will se you tomorrow" said Marcus
"Okay"
"Bye
"Bye" me and Lucas said together
Me and Lucas just order pizza and hang out watching T.V.
{Lucas's Point Of View}
I feel so bad that Melissa has to go through all of this I wonder if I can do anything to help her. I have the perfect idea.
Just then Melissa slips and falls onto my lap I look at her and see that she's asleep. So I pick her up and carry her to her room. When I lay her down she starts screaming
"Don't touch me Lucas will come he will hurt you. Get away from me" She screams. It's cute when she talks in her sleep but this is scary so I wake her up.
{Melissa's Point Of View}
"Lucas, LUCAS" i say then I pull him into a tight hug "promise you'll never leave me"
"I promise. Now get some sleep" Lucas said
"I'm scared can you sleep next to me"
"Sure" he says as he cuddles in next to me. He wraps his arms around me from behind me. And we both fall asleep.
We wake up the next morning. We both decided to stay home. Lucas calls Mr. Fuller and tells him I'm sick and my parents aren't home. So Mr. Fuller let us stay home.
I go to the kitchen to make breakfast. Then Lucas comes in lifts me up and sits me on the counter.
"Whatcha making" Lucas says in a childlike voice.
"Now nothing"
"Ha well what were you making" Lucas asks
"Breakfast. You know you should try it sometime it's the most important meal of the day" i say pointing my pointer finger in the air.
"Are you always sarcastic"
"Well that wasn't sarcastic really" I say with a smug look.
"Oh really"
"Yup"
"Whatever" Lucas said. He brushed his lips against mine I moved closer to him and he pulled away. I almost fell foward off the counter but I caught myself
"Jerk"
"Awww did you want a kiss"
"Whatever asscat" I try to hop off the counter but Lucas catches me and gives me a kiss. It felt so good I leaned in wrapping my arms around his neck. But then I push him back and walk away.
"You can't kiss me like that then walk away"
"Oh really what does it look like I'm doing now" I screamed back.
"It looks like your coming back here" Lucas said
"No it does-" i was saying till Lucas ran to me knocking me down and started tickling me.
"Come back and finish breakfast "
"Haha no you finish it haha. Stop tickling me haha"
"Not until you come"
"Fine haha" i said. But Lucas kept tickling me "I said I'll come"
"I know" said Lucas
"Then stop tickling me" i said
"Fine" said Lucas
I go back to the kitchen and finish making some pancakes. We sit down to eat and turn on the TV. Then Lucas got up to use the bathroom. Then I hear a knock at the door. I go to open it but no one is there then I get a text from Marcus.
*get away from the door*
What did he mean by that then I get the door almost closed till someone's foot is put in the door. Oh crap. Just then he comes in. Oh crap oh crap oh crap. I'm having a panic attack it's Daimon.
"Did you not go to school because of me"
"Yeah I didn't want to see you"
"I wouldn't get smart with me"
"What-" i was saying till he put something over my mouth. I tried not to breath it in but there was no other air so I pushed him away then screamed "LUCAS"
"You shouldn't have done that" he said as he pushed it closer to me. I breathed it in by mystake. I felt everything get weak so I collapsed on the floor.
{Lucas's Point Of View}
I hear Melissa screaming so I quickly come out. She's gone and left her phone it was still on so I can tell she just got taken. I see a text from Marcus saying
*get away from the door*
Oh crap Daimon came probably. The door was still open I look outside and see a car pull away. I quickly call Marcus.
"Melissa's gone" i say
"Daimon took her"
"I figured that out thanks" i say sarcastically.
"It's fine-" said Marcus
"Fine what the hell do you know what fine is" i cut him off
"Yes I do now calm down she's still wearing the bracelet and I saw Daimon come so I'm following him. Just stay there"
"Im calling the cops" I said
"No don't thats even worse"
"HOW"
"I know where he is just stay calm"
"Ok fine"
"Now just to be sure it's Daimon call the school and ask if he's there"
"Ok"
"Bye" Marcus said
"Bye" i say
I calm down a bit then call the school.
Mr. Fuller answers
"Lucas you called me already to say your staying home"
"I know but this is different"
"What"
"Is Daimon there"
"I'll check give me a sec"
"His teachers says he didn't come today. Why is something wrong"
"Ok thank you"
"Lucas is something wrong"
"Yes" i say
"What"
"Melissa is missing and the door was open"
"Why do you think it's him" said Mr. Fuller
"He sent her threatening messages"
"Oh my god. Should I call the police"
"No don't and forget about this" i said in almost a begging voice
"Ok"
"Thank you Mr. Fuller"
"No problem. I hope you find her"
"Ok bye"
"Bye"
I text Marcus
*its Daimon he didn't show up to school*
*ok. He just got of of his car and is carrying Melissa. I got to go*
*ok and please kick his ass for me*
*ill let you do that*
