Dad?

{Melissa's Point Of View}
I wake up next to Delilah. I forgot I had my cast so I just got up and fell with a thud.
{Lucas's Point Of View}
I hear a boom upstairs. I look at Daniella and we both run upstairs.
{Melissa's Point Of View}
I'm on the floor and I hear someone coming so I push myself under the bed.
"Melissa" i hear someone scream. Then I think wait that sounds like Lucas. I peak my head out. He saw me. He bent down and sat on the floor.
"Melissa are you okay i heard a bang" Lucas says
"I'm fine" I answer
"And why were you hiding"
"I didn't know it was you" I look at the doorway and see Daniella standing there. I see a shadow.
"DAIMON" I screamed in panic
Lucas turned around.
"There's nothing there calm down"
I start crying on the floor. Lucas hugged me. At this point we were sitting on the floor he was hugging me and my face was buried in his chest.
"Lucas I'm so scared" I sob a little
"It's alright I'll protect you"
"No I got you into this if I wasn't here you'd be fine" I say
"Don't say that" he says while he strokes my hair. I continue to cry until Delilah wakes up.
"Oh um I'll just go out" Delilah says awquardly.
"I made lunch it's downstairs"
"K thanks Lucas" said Delilah
"Bye" Lucas said
Delilah walks out.
"You said there's food downstairs" I say
"Yeah so?" He asks
"So what are we doing here" I say.
He chuckles then helps me up and carries me downstairs. He puts me on the couch and walks to get food for me. He comes back with spaghetti.
"Ahhhhhhhhh" I open my mouth.
He looks at my arms for a while.
"Why are you staring at me"
"Cuz your arms seem to be fine" he chuckled. I punched him in his stomach.
"How do you like my arms now" I say smirking.
"Wait till your out of that cast I'm gonna tease you and bug you so much" he says
I look down sadly.
"What's wrong" Lucas says
"I don't want my foot to heal cuz then he will get me" I say. Lucas sighs.
"What's wrong with you now" I ask
He gets up gets a letter and hands it to me. {its the letter from last chapter} I read it and gasped. I started to cry.
"It's gonna be alright he won't get you" Lucas assures me
"You said that last time" I screamed
"We will find you again"
"But what if you can't" I sobbed a little
He grabs my hand "look at me" I look at him. "I promise nothing will happen to you"
"Promise?" I ask shyly
"I promise" he says giving a small smile. "Do you promise me you won't do anything to harm yourself to keep you in that cast longer."
I look at him and smirk "your just saying that so you can tease me quicker"
"Maybe, maybe not" he says smirking
"I think maybe" he leans to my forehead and I lean closer. He moves back.
"Haha I can tease you now to"
"You little-" I say till he cuts me
"So you wanted me to kiss you" I blushed.
"Haha" he laughs at me. I move my arm to punch him but he catches my hand. "If you want me to feed you then you better not punch me."
"Hmph fine" i say crossing my arms and pouting.
"Stop being a baby"
"Then kiss me-" I stopped myself I didn't mean to say it. Next thing I knew was his lips were on mine. He pulls away. "So are you satisfied" he says smirking.
I look at him in shock and I don't know whether to say yes or no. So I figured to tease him a little.
"I've been kissed better"
"Really now. By my other kisses"
"Psh no other boys have kissed me you can even call them men"
"That's not possible because I thought I was your first kiss"
Crap he remembered. "Well my dad has kissed me better" I say confidently.
"Oh really now"
"Yup"
"Well you got the man part right" he said we both laughed. He was the only who knew how to make me laugh.
"MELISSA" my mom screamed busting through the door.
"What are you okay what happened" I said worried
"Your father he's-"
"He's what"
"If you wouldn't have cut me off I would said it already" my mom said
"Just tell me what"
"They called me and said he left without a trace"
"You think they took him" I said sadly
"I don't know sweetheart but someone you should meet is outside one of my closest personal friends"
"Who" I said
"Go look"
"Umm okay"
I walk outside and there is a man there.
"Do I know you"
"Yes"
"Umm well whats your name" I ask. He takes off his hood "my name is Calvin but you can call me dad"
"DADDY" I jump into his arms he hugs me lifting me up. I wrap my legs around him.
"Never leave me again. I've missed you so much" I cried. This time it wasn't sad tears like usual it was happy tears.
"I can promise you that but I will still have to go to work but I'll try to not as often"
"Thanks daddy that means a lot"
He carries me inside. I turn myself around so now he's basically giving me a piggyback ride. He looks at Lucas
"Is that a boy" he asks
"No I'm a monkey, yeah I'm a boy" Lucas answers
"Ha I like you kid your funny"
"Umm thanks I guess. But am I missing something" Lucas says awquardly
"I don't know dad is he" I say
"I don't think so" we look at each other.
"Oh sorry Mr. Smith I didn't realize-" he says ashamed
"It's fine I like you kid. Also call me Calvin"
"Ok Mr.- I mean Calvin"
"Ha" he sets me down in between him and Lucas.
"So your her boyfriend"
"Dad" I look at him like stop your embarrassing me.
"What, so are you" he asks again
"Yes" Lucas answers
"Oh ok you better treat my daughter damn well"
"Okay Calvin" Lucas looked a little scared. "Well I actually heard from Melissa" oh great whats he gonna say now "that your a better kisser than me"
"I guess I am" my dad said looking at me and laughing a little.
"So Mel why is there a cast on your foot"
I look at my foot "well you see I um yeah then you see that happened and boom my foot"
"Wow still good at explaining things aren't we"
"Yupples"
"You still say that" my dad said annoyed
"Nope just brought it back baby"
"Ha" my dad kisses me on my forehead then looks at Lucas "thats how it's done son" he leans back on the couch putting his arm behind me. So Lucas being Lucas pulls me into a kiss on my lips. "No thats how it's done." Lucas says
I laughed at both of them
"Hahahaha"
"Whats so funny" Lucas said
"A grown man is fighting with a teenager about who can kiss me better. And we all know who's gonna win"
"Who" they say at the same time.
I moved towards Lucas then quickly turned and said "my daddy" like a child. And hugged him
"I really thought I was gonna win"
"You just got played sucka" I say trying to stand up but Lucas pushes me back down on the couch. He gives me a long kiss.
"Do I win now" he says.
I blush. So just to bother him I say "Well when you put it that way" I say shyly "no" I say after confidently.
"Fine" he says pouting.
"Haha. I'm gonna go to bed I'll see you people tomorrow." I say
"You didn't have dinner"
"Yeah but I had a late lunch and I'm still full"
"Ok sweety good night" my mother gives me a kiss on my cheek. I kiss her cheek back then hug her. I do the same to my dad then start walking away. Lucas follows me into the room. I lay down and he lays next to me
"I didn't get a hug and kiss" he pouts
I turn around to hug him. While I'm turning back around he pulls me back and kisses me.
"Theres my good night kiss" he smirks. I turn back around and I can feel him hugging me. I fall asleep shortly after.

She so beautiful when she sleeps. "Good night princess" I say
I fall asleep
