I was shaking what did he mean. Then I see Marcus picking up my mom then bringing her to a spare room.
"Melissa are you okay" Lucas says.
"*crying* no I'm scared what did he mean"
"Don't worry he's going to jail. Everything will be alright go to sleep"
"O-Okay" I go to my room and take a nap.
I wake up go to the kitchen and see my mom making breakfast. I go to hug her.
"Are you alright mom"
"Yes just my arm hurts a little. Marcus told me what happened"
"Ok" I sit down next to Lucas and my mom hands me a plate to eat. We finish up then head out to school.
"Promise you won't leave my side" I say
"Theres nothing to worry about he's getting locked up as we speak"
"I know but still"
"Ok" Lucas says. I kiss him on the cheek.
"Hey why there" he asks
"Because" I say
"Oh well"
"Oh well what"
"No kisses for you until next Monday"
"You realize this doesn't bother me right" I give him a look like haha you just screwed yourself.
"Dammit" he hits himself in the face.
"Haha"
"Whatever"
"You do realize it's Tuesday so now you got like a week left buddy"
"Yeah yeah" he says rolling his eyes.
We reach school and Mr. Fuller greets us.
"Melissa, Lucas welcome back are you feeling alright"
"Yes"
"Okay good and Lucas you are doing a good job Melissa hasn't pulled a prank in weeks"
"Cuz I've been busy"
"With what"
"Being kidnapped and trying not to die"
"WHAT"
"Oh you didn't know thats why we weren't here" I said
"Umm Mr. Fuller thats when I called you to see if Daimon was there. Yeah well he kidnapped her" Lucas said
"Oh my god" said Mr. Fuller
"Yeah he's in jail now" said Lucas
"Okay good. And I'm so sorry"
"It's alright it's not your fault" I assured him
"Okay now get to class"
"Alright thank you and bye" Lucas said as we walked off.
Then I had a genius idea since he missed my pranks I'll do one. I take out my phone and text Delilah to meet me at the bathroom. She replied ok.
"Lucas I don't need you to stay by me I'm gonna be fine"
"Um I have to stay with you anyways"
"Okay but go to class I'm just gonna use the bathroom"
"Ok"
I go and meet Delilah she hugs me.
"I missed you are you alright"
"Yeah but wait listen we are gonna pull a prank"
"Okay what is it"
"So we are gonna go to Mr. Fuller's office and fill it with balloons"
"Thats lame" she said cutting me off
"You didn't let me finish"
"Fine so continue"
"Ok we are gonna fill it all up with confetti but one will be with water so when he pops it he gets soaked. And we are gonna hide all pens scissors and everything that can be used to pop a balloon easily."
"Ok but after school you are coming over and we are gonna plan for a better prank"
"Ha Ok lets go"
We walk out and I bump into Lucas.
"So tell me when are we gonna go to his office"
"Who's" I say innocently
"Very funny lets go" he says
"No" I replied
"Ok I'm not gonna stand through this. Melissa I'll see you at lunch" Delilah says winking at me
"Ok bye" I say waving.
Lucas just stares at me.
"Sooo I'm gonna go" I say walking off but he grabs me and spins me around.
"Lets go" he says
"No" I say. Then Lucas pulls out the handcuffs from a few days ago and handcuffs me to him.
"Ugh you still have these things"
"Never threw them out" he says smirking.
Great now I can't go with Delilah. We walk into class and everyone is staring at us.
"What are you looking at" I say. Then everyone looks back at their papers. We sit down but I couldn't sit normally because of the handcuffs. They are so short. So I had to move as close as I can to Lucas
"Aww now she wants to be next to me"
"Shutup asscat I just can't sit normally because of the handcuffs."
"Sure" he says rolling his eyes and smirking. I move my hand to punch him in the stomach but he catches my hand. "Why would you wanna punch me" he says making a puppy dog face
"So I can-" I was about to say run but then I realized that we were stuck together.
"What you can run away because last time I checked we were handcuffed together and we are in class"
Dammit I hate it when he's right "no actually so I can hurt you"
"Really"
"Yup"
"Thats all you can come up with"
"Yup"
"Wow"
*rrrriiiinnnnggggg
Class was over. We get through other classes now it's lunch. I see Delilah.
"Hey Delilah" I scream
"Oh hey there you are" Delilah comes. "Um why are you handcuffed together" says Delilah awquardly
"Cuz Mr. Genius thinks he's hilarious" I say
"Well I was looking for you to tell you Mr. Fuller needs to speak to you in room 202"
"Ok. Lucas take the handcuffs off" I said
"Fine" he says. He takes them off then follows me to the room. "I'm gonna wait outside" he tells me.
"Ok I don't care" I tell him. I walk into the room and see Delilah.
"K lets go out the window then make our way back in" said Delilah
"Ok" I said. We climbed out the window
