In the last few days, since my last post on child sexual abuse, many readers have contacted me and told me about their experiences. It was sad and horrifying hearing so many stories. But one thing I noticed among all the readers who shared their stories, they were ashamed and haven't spoken to anyone about it.
I want to tell you all out there who have experienced such abuse -
You are not at fault.
You were the victim.
Please don't feel ashamed.
If you want, it may be better you talk to someone like your older sister, mother or a friend.
If not, please understand this YOU WERE A VICTIM. It was not your fault.
I hope we can help other children not go through such trauma inshaa Allah.
