Pete's POV
Andy loved her. Joe did to. We wanted to adopt her but we had to visit some other girls. So we told her we'd be back.
After they visit other girls
When we went back to Preston she had headphones in and was reading a book. She was mouthing the song and tapping her foot. I snuke up to her and grapped her book making her fall off the bed. Patrick gave me a bad look and Andy helped her up. She wrote
"Really Pete. Really."
"Yep." I replied. She nodded and stole the book back. She was reading 'Unwind' She paused the music and sat down on the bed and wrote
"What's up?"
"Well Preston. We want to adopt you." Patrick replied. She dropped the board. She then picked it up and wrote quickly
"Really? I just got here yesterday though. Why?"
"We thought you would be a perfect fit for our family."Andy said. She jumped up and hugged us all. "Well me and Pete needed to go sign papers. Andy,Joe help her pack." Patrick demanded Andy nodded in agreement. We went down stairs to sign the papers.
Andy and Joe came down followed by Preston but she didn't use the stairs. She slid down the railing. She landed on the ground and Patrick gave her a stair. She put her hands up in surender. I laughed at her. Andy didn't have a bag and Joe didn't either. Preston had a black backpack. "Is that all you have?" I asked she nodded. We took her home and showed her around. We took her to her room and left her to settle in but our friends had different plans. Gerard showed up 15 minutes after we got home. "OK I know you said to come over tomorrow but she wouldn't leave me alone and I was trying to make dinner so I just brought her over." By 'she' he meant his daughter Piper. "Hi, uncle Pete! Can I go see your new daughter?" "Go a head princes." She squeled and ran upstairs. I let Gerard in. Piper ran back down she looked scared. I asked,"What's wrong P?" She ran over to me and whispered in my ear,"She's crying." I ran upstairs to find Preston crying. "What's wrong hun?" I asked. She wrote
"Memories. Bad memories. Sorry."
"It's ok hun." I hugged her and she sobbed into my chest. I held her there. I wandered what happened.
