Chapter 5

Patrick POV
Pete had got Preston to sleep and Piper and Gerard had left. We sat in the living room watching T.V. That is until Brendon walked in with Sam right behind him. Sam was a little brat towards all of us but when daddy was around she was an angel. "Hey,Trick! Hey,Pete! We came over to see the new girl because Sam wouldn't leave me alone." "It's alright Brendon. I just need to go wake her up." Said Pete. He ran up the stairs to wake Preston up.

Preston's POV
I was sound asleep until I felt a light tap on my shoulder. "Hey. You have a guest." I nodded and stoud up and grabbed my board. I ran my hand through my hair and grabbed my ear buds incase it turned into an adult conversation. I followed Pete down stairs to see a tall man with brown hair and a girl shorter than me with black hair. They looked up at me and I smiled I slid down the banister earning a glare from Patrick. He shock his finger at me and I stuck my tongue out and he atacked hurt by my gesture. "Hi! My names Sam. What's yours?" I wrote down
"Preston. Nice to meet you Sam."
"Why aren't you talking darling? I don't bite that hard." I looked at Pete and he looked at me. I nodded my head toward the girl than pointed to my throat. "Sam hun. Preston's a mute." Pete said. She dropped her jaw. Then spun on her hills and walked out. "Sorry Pete. She doesn't like mutes talk to you later." Said the tall man. He walked out and Pete put a hand on my shoulder. "You alright hun?" I wrote
"Fine. I'm going to get some fresh air be back later."
"Let me go with you or Pete. "Patrick said. I shock my head and walked out. Once outside I ran to a park and walked up to a tree. I put my headphones in and listened to music blarring it in my ears as I cried. Why was I a freak. People hated me. Didn't like me. Pete and Patrick made a mistake adopting a Mute Freak.
