"Jaebummie..." I said, stopping him from playing with his toy car.
He lifted his head towards me "Yes Minnie?" We both have our own nickname that only us know about. So in this whole world, I'm the only one who called him Jaebummie, since we were 2years old, and now we are 5 years old. How fast time flies..
"You promise you won't leave me?" I pressed my lips into a thin line.
"Aigo Minnie." He pinched my cheeks "You know that I can't live a day without you right?"
"But what if one day-"
He putted his index finger to my lips "I promise I won't leave you. Not in a million years"
Giggling, I said "Where did you get that from?"
"I got it from a song. I really like music these days. You know those idols? Yes, I want to be like them so bad" He looked up to the sky.
"Are you kidd-" I stuttered "You said you don't want to leave me?" I fixed my tone.
"Who said I'm going to leave you?" He relaxed his arms on my shoulder. "If one day, I'm really an idol, I won't forget you though." He lifted his gaze to me.
"But if you want to be an idol...don't you have to stay as a trainee for years?" This time, I really couldn't contain my feelings anymore. What he just said, it all seems real. Although, I know he is just kidding, from my opinion. He was never serious.
"I'll be back after that. I promise Minnie"
"You're lying" I pushed him from my shoulder. Sobs-sobs "You're lying! I hate you!"
"No I'm not" He hugged me in his embrace. On that day, we shared our moments. And how we promised, we won't forget each other, how we promised, we will meet again. One day, if we ever have to leave each other. I know it's happening, I knew it from the start.
