It was already the end of the detention class. Nothing much happened. And Teacher Yugyeom isn't all that treacherous, he is gentle. The bell rang, and I briskly picked up my bag and bid him goodbye.
I strolled around the playground near my house. I sat on one of those swings. Back then, me and Jaebum used to play together in this playground, building a sand castle, chasing each other and stuffs.
"Yah Jaebummie!" I threw him a handful of sand. He is chasing me rapidly, and I'm about to slow down anytime sooner.
He catched up to me and hugged me from the back. "Got you!" We both laughed and lay on the grass, side to side.
"I'm so thirsty" I said while closing my eyes, trying to recharge my energy.
"Do you want ice cream?" He fixed his posture and turned to me "Let's buy one, and we can share." He stood up and offered his hand to me. I grabbed his hand and stood up steadily.
We went to the nearest grocery store. "Strawberry or chocolate?" He asked while raising both of ice cream flavors, considering which one to buy. "Strawberry" He know me so well than anyone would ever do.

"Here have some" He gave me the ice cream. "I don't feel like eating."
"You sure?"
"Yes." He smiled sweetly. "I don't want to lose you, Minnie..." He muttered under his breath, but it was loud enough for me to hear.
"I won't even dare to leave you" I said looking down. "You're like my everything now."
Giggling, he said "There. You got something there." He pointed to my cheeks. "Let me wipe it for you" He gets closer and wiped my cheeks. He stalled, and then kissed my cheeks. It was like a quick kiss, a shy kiss. I was so stunned I couldn't react.
With his face getting redder, he said "Farewell" and then he ran away. Back then, I don't even know what 'farewell' means, i don't even bother to ask my mom what's the meaning. I thought it was some sort of confessing words, so I received it as it is. Before I could enter the house, I saw Jaebum peeping from his window. I waved to him but he closed the window instead. Started from that day, I never heard anything from him. Not even a single update about him. Until a few years later, I saw a familiar face on tv, and it was Jaebum. That was when I finally realized, it's over.
