Kylie looks at me. What do we do? I step forward, "Yes, of course." We stand by a guy with shaggy blonde hair and a wasian, like me but with black hair in a ponytail.

Ponytail man reaches up to touch my hair, "Pretty horsey!" He whispers

"Now, let's get your names." Kylie says

Ponytail says, "I'm Finn."

Shaggy hair grins, "I'm Freddy."

A lady wearing just a t-shirt opens another beer, "I'm Georgia."

Another t-shirt dress lady says, "I'm Kat."

"I'm Annie, that's Gracie." I point to Kylie

"You girls are fine. This is the part where you say thank you." Freddy smirks

I turn around, "No, this is the part where we will be leaving."

Kylie still has the Bugles in her shirt. We walk over to the counter. There's a ton of plastic bags. We grab a bunch. Kylie shoves her Bugles in one of the bags. "Grab some more Bugles." With that she wanders over to the freezer, what is she doing? I make my way over to the snacks. A ton of plastic bags are wrapped around my hand. A bag of Doritos crinkles when I put it in a bag. I grab the remains of chips. Ranging from Kylie's Bugles to hot Cheetos. I open a package of donuts, then down them all in 10 seconds. All the donuts left on the shelf go into a bag. I'm surprised these drunk guys haven't eaten more. I grab all the non perishable items that I like. "Guys, let's go!" Darleena shouts into the store

"We'll be right there!" I see Kylie appear in the aisle

She has a few unopened Jim Slim's in her mouth. Her hands are filled with over stuffed bags of junk food and soda. She nods. She attempts to say something, but the only word I can make out is, "Run."

I secure the bags around my hands. We walk out into the main area. Kylie hands Darleena a Slim Jim. Darleena instinctively, opens it. We take off running. The Pringles I grabbed jiggle as we run. I propel my legs faster and faster. I suck at running, so eating the donuts didn't help. The doors are just open. I dash up the steps then hop into the drivers seat. I'm so glad I already have my license, not some lousy learners permit like Kylie. I press down on the accelerator. The bus chugs forward. Kylie is sitting in the middle of the bus. "Uh, Joce. You might wanna go faster. Darleena must've been a runner." Kylie spits out

I floor the gas pedal. I glance back at someone screaming a colorful chain of words. It's Nathan. Kylie is just laughing. We turn onto the highway. The side mirrors don't show any sign of Darleena. I let off the gas then the bus down a little bit. A bead of sweat is covering my forehead, so it will go on my shirt. It says we're going 45 miles per hour. I turn the wheel every so often to avoid abandoned cars. I click the radio on. It's just a wave of static. I just listen to wave after wave of static. It breaks, "Chickeen is gooood." A voice says.

"I would go for some chicken right now." Kylie sighs

"I know. A big bucket of KFC." I lick my lips.

She shakes her head, "Nah, let's stop with this it's just gonna get me hungry."

I nod, "True, true."

We continue driving in silence. I look off the highway and see a small store ahead. I pull down an exit ramp. There is a stoplight, it's on red. I halt the bus.

There is a group of women standing on multiple cars. One has a gun at hand. Her finger closes over the trigger. A BOOM fills the air. Another woman is standing on a car across from the gunner. Her head erupts, shooting blood everywhere. Some even gets on the windshield. What the? The light turns green. I slowly turn right and pull into a Target. Cars are parked all over the place. I park the bus right in front of the doors.
