15 years later, 1979
"I'm off out mum" my daughter Sadie shouted to me from the door
"Where?" I asked
"Out" she spat
I walked out of the living room and to the door, she was wearing a short black dress and high heels
"Erm where do you think your going dressed like that?" I asked folding my arms
"To a party"
"My daughter is not going to a party and especially not dressed like that"
"I'm off out wether you like it or not"
"No your not, go upstairs, get changed and then go to bed"
"No" she said simply and opened the door
"Sadie don't you dare"
She laughed and walked outside, she started walking down the street
"Sadie!! Get back her right now!" I shouted
"See ya later mum, don't wait up for me!" She shouted back waving
"Your are in so much trouble when you get home!" I gave up and went back inside
I sat down, Sadie is such a trouble maker. As soon as she hit teenage years she was no longer the princess girl I had raised her to be, she started hanging around with the wrong crowd, especially boys. She basically just turned into a teddy girl, she smoked, she drunk, she went to parties and stayed out all night. She constantly argues with me and ever since she became 14 she never stops asking about who her dad is. I never decided to tell her about her dad, whenever she asked about him I would just say that he left before she was born. I refuse to tell Sadie her fathers name, I definitely don't want her trying to find John.

I woke up with a loud bang, I checked the clock it was 3:45am. I got out of bed and walked downstairs, finding Sadie and some lad in my house.
"What the hell is going on here" I said firmly getting their attention
"Oh fuck off mum" Sadie slurred making the boy laugh
"Don't you use that language at me"
She laughed "fuck. Off."
"Who is this lad?" I asked, ignoring her
"My boyfriend" she slurred again
" No no no, out" I said while opening the door and pushing the boy out before shutting it and locking it
"Mum what the fuck!" She shouted
"Go to your room"
"I fucking hate you!" She shouted and walked upstairs before slamming her door shut.
I sighed and walked upstairs to my room, before getting into bed and going back to sleep.
---
The next morning I got out of bed and checked on Sadie, she was asleep in bed still. I went downstairs and made myself a coffee. I'm sick of Sadie, if she had her dad around then maybe she wouldn't be like this.
I'm fed up with everything. I decided to grab the phone, I still had his number. I mean what harm could it do to call him again.
I started dialling the number, I paused. Maybe this was a bad idea. He's grown up now, he's not in the Beatles anymore. He has his own career and has another kid, he doesn't have time for me and Sadie. I don't think he'll even remember me. he didn't care about me anyway.
