"Hide, there are people outside
stay silent, no one will know."

Hands sweating, skin-picking
fingers fidgeting, oh no!
not this time, I beg you
stay away, don't go near me
not today, not tomorrow—just go.

A huge clamor then sets in
knock, knock, knock
"Dear, go out of your room
they want to see you now"
unable to speak, a nod's just enough
feverish eyes, felicitous smiles
yet ferocious atmosphere
Bad news!
The normals are here!

Head throbbing, heart palpitating
I don't want to be seen
scars, bruised knees, pale skin
lips drying, my life is ending

"Hide, there are people inside
