We met one summer night,

a blessing in disguise

You were the sky,

I was the ember

glowing in fire,

I still remember

the days when we both lied

In several ways

when both of us died—

simultaneously

You searched for light,

I for none

and when you saw the light,

the sun began

to set in

chasing the memories

of once we called life

for you lifted me up high

higher, even higher

I lost my own fire

and when you glanced at me,

that night

before you knew

'twas over

You told me that,

if only you could rewind

the time when you said you needed light

and I pretended I have mine,

that lasts eternally

but when the light came

to you unknowingly,

you wish we never really died.

Hey guys, idk but would it be okay if you share your interpretations about this below? But if not, still it's fine. Just love to know what you're thinking about this one.

P.S. When I wrote this piece, the feeling was so strange I couldn't fathom lol
