Chapter 14

Kurt Jiyong's POV

I just got off from work and I am here now at our house, again.

Im at the garden, particularly. Im waiting for my mom because she is not yet around.
It's already 9PM and she's not yet here! Where did she go?

Anyway, I need to tell to my mom that I need to stop this non-sense. This is very imposible.

Three days had passed since Faith rejected the offer.

"Master, nandiyan na po si Madam." butler said.

I felt nervous, again.

Geez. This is so weird.

"Okay." I said and followed butler.

We entered the house and we went upstairs.

After a few minutes, we reached her office.

We stayed outside.

I can see her from the glass window. Looks like she just came home from NSC.

She's really working hard for the sake of the school. How am I gonna say that I want to stop this non-sense?

"Master, maiwan ko na po kayo. Just call me if you need something." butler said.

"Ok." I responded and he left.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

I knocked and smiled at her.

She smiled too. I went inside her office.

"Did you already convince her?" she asked while she's typing on her laptop.

I didn't answer her. I moved closer to her.

"What now, Jiyongie?" she asked again.

That name. -____-

I sighed.

"I can't do this anymore." I said.

She stopped typing and looked at me.

Uh oh.

"What did you just say?" she asked.

"I can't do this. This is very impossible." I said.

My mom stood up and came closer to me.

"I already paid the media broadcasters and now you're telling me that you will give up?"

"We already knew that this plan is very impossible. Im giving up, Mom. Im so sorry." I said and turned my back from her.

I heard her spoke.

"Jiyongie, 'pag napapayag mo siya para sa foundation day, I swear, habang buhay mo ko pasasalamatan."

I looked at her again.

"Trust me, Jiyongie. You have to do this. We don't have much time left. It will be held on Friday." she said and smiled.

I didn't respond and I left her.

Butler saw me.

"Master, may kailangan po ba kayo?" he asked.

"Wala. Aalis na ako." sagot ko.

"Ok. Ingat po kayo." sabi niya.

I walked away and exited the house.

Ugh. What should I do?

I fished my phone out from my pocket and dialed a number.
