and hope made u feel less bad about what u did to me because u maybe think this time around u could be better

but the damage is already done and even though u haven't broken me
u just made it an infinite amount of times difficult to receive or generate love
because im scared that all my endeavors will backfire
and now my only response to shit like u is satire when u decide to notice me

and i was never the one to pick on the kid who was scared of his shadow ,
of the kid who found it hard to accept what he had become and gaggles over evolution and its outcomes
how shallow?
