Megan's POV
As soon as we entered the jewellery shop mom and Pattie got all happy and exited. They looked around and searched for a worker, i guess? As soon as they spotted a worker they practically ran up to her.
"Excuse me, miss. Do you work here?" Pattie asked polite.
"Yes, i do. Do you need help with anything?" Well duhh!
"Actually yes, we are wondering if you have engagement rings anywhere?" Mom asked the worker.
"Yes yes, follow me"
We followed her and she turned around and looked at me and Justin. Oh no here it comes...
"So, you two must be the happy couple" Before me or Justin got to answer that question Pattie said "Yeah, my son Justin is marrying my best friends daughter, Megan"
"Oh my, it so cute that your children are getting married, i wish that my daughter would marry my best friends son but they don't really like each other" Oh, you don't say!
"Yeah well, those two lovebirds are really happy together" Mom said montening to me and Justin. Justin just made me a weird face but tried to act all happy and in love with me. Eww.
"Back to business, do you know what sort you want? Diamonds maybe?" My eyes lit up as soon as she said diamonds.
"I would like diamonds on my ring, please" I said
"If you look over here, you can see different rings that have diamonds on" She said pointing at some rings.
"I like that one" My mom said pointing at a ring.
"Yeah, me too. How much is it?" Pattie asked the worker.
"Its 2700 Canadian dollars"
"Oh, which one do you like" Pattie asked me and Justin.
"I don't know" Justin answered her.
"Oh come on, excuse me. Can we please have a moment?" Mom asked the worker.
"Yeah, of course. Just call for me when you have decided. Oh and my name is Suzan." She said to us and left.
"Can you two please stop and just chose a freaking ring together because we are not leaving before we buy a ring, you get that" Mom said.
"Well then i guess we'll die here" Justin muttered to himself
"What?" Pattie asked him
"Nothing nothing. Can you please just chose a ring so we can get out of here?" He said to me.
"No, you are gonna help her chose"
"Which one do you like, Justin?" You asked him with pleading eyes just so he could pick one so you could leave.
He sighed and said "That one" He pointed at a ring. Wow, its actually beautiful. I thought he would pick a really ugly one.
"Yeah, i like that one too" I said to our moms. (Picture -->)
"Should we buy that one then" Mom asked us.
"Yeah i guess" Me and Justin said
"Ehm, Suzan. Are you still there?" Pattie kind of shouted.
"Yes, im here , im here. So did you decide which one you would like to buy?"
"Yeah that one. How much is it?" Mom asked Suzan.
"Oh that one. Its 3390 Canadian dollars"
"We'll have it" Pattie said smiling really big.
"Okay, i guess its 3390 dollars then" She said to Pattie and mom.
Mom and Pattie paid for it and then Suzan started walking towards me and Justin. She gave the ring to Justin and Justin just stared at her with a confused look on his face.
"Why are you giving it to me?" He asked her.
"Well you are marrying her, right?"
"Yeah" He said still confused.
"You need to slide it in her ring finger" She said in a duh tone.
You could hear mom and Pattie giggling and taking their phones out to probably to take pictures.
"Oh, give me your finger, ehm, babe" He said to me clearly disgusted. Wait what. Babe?
He reached out for my hand and slid the ring in wanting to get this over with.
I adgusted the ring and when i looked to my left i saw that my mom recorded everything and her eyes where full with tears. Happy tears.
"Thank you so much for your help today, Suzan. We really appreciate it"
"No need to thank me. And I wish you two good luck in the future" She said to me and Justin.
I muttered a "Thanks" and started walking towards the exit door.
As soon as we got in the car mom and Pattie started talking about wedding plans and wedding things i guess.
The ring is actually comfortable.
We relly need to stop this wedding but how? Im not ready for this. Im marrying my enemy..
