To clarify on the demigod or no demigod thing, it wouldn't change the story a lot. It would only serve as an excuse for her to take a trip to the US for Harry's second year. I have an idea for a position for her to work in at Hogwarts the year after but for the second year she would be in America discovering demigods and her godly parent. After that, the most it would come up is when she tells Sirius and Severus or when a monster attacks.
I don't know if that helps anyone decide or changes people's minds.
I'm leaning more towards the demigod thing since it's only a minor thing. I'm still open to comments.
