"Hi! My name is Angel, 8 years old. This is my best friend, Ashley. She is also 8 years old." The girl in a flowery pink dress said. Her best friend, in a white dress, only nods at their imaginary friend.

"Look, we are wet because we took a bath in that river." Angel said while pointing at the river only few meters away from them. Ashley didn't look at the water, her eyes still trained at their friend.

"I'm sorry, she doesn't speak that much. I don't know but she changed." Angel said, noticing the silence between her two friends. The huge fluffy rabbit with a large pair of white ears smiled and wiped his pink coat. "I want to take a bath too." He told Angel.

"Okay! Let's go!" she said excitedly and held Ashley's hand with hers. They strolled over the ocean of rocks and little amount of shells and went to the riverbank. The water was running smoothly from their left to right, bringing water lilies at its flow. The rabbit's name is Pinky, since he was wearing a pink coat. He dived at the clear water and made a huge splash.

"Wow! I think I will take a bath again." Angel said and started taking off her doll shoes. She ran towards Pinky and cupped some water and threw them away. The water is already up to her waist even if she only stepped a foot away from the land. "Hey! Ashley! Let's go!" She invited her who then began running towards them with a little smile.

They spent the whole day playing with water, swimming, and gathering shells. At 4 p.m. they decided to go home but Pinky stayed because he has no home.

"It's a wonderful day! I'm tired but what's important is we're happy right? I'll just cover up for us about our wet dresses. Don't worry, they won't be angry." Angel said joyfully at Ashley who grinned and nodded. They walked, their clothes dripping wet.

They arrived at Angel's house and her mother greeted her with a sudden tight hug and an "Oh, my god!" scream of relief. She became confused but she hugged back. "Why mom?" she asked. "Where you came from?" Don't go to that river again!" Her mother said with tears at the corners of her eyes. She still didn't know why her mom was so worried.

"Mom, we're going to Ashley's house." She announced. Her mother burst into tears and hugged her again. She held her hand as they went to Ashley's house. Angel insisted that she can go alone but her mother said that she is about to visit the house too.

"I wonder why she's going to your house." Angel whispered at Ashley who shrugged. "I hope they won't scold us together." She added.

They were at the gates when she noticed some stands of flowers placed at both sides of the front door. Some of the people in their village gathered inside, wearing either black or white shirts. At the center was a long white case with flowers carved at the sides.

Angel tip-toed at the case and saw her friend lying inside; thinking when and how she got there so fast. "But she's wide awake a while ago, mom. We are playing at the river... with Pinky." She said softly.
