SYNCHRONIZED SYMPHONIES

658 94 13

the seasons change,
winter wind hackles outside the windows,
and she reads intently,
a smile encasing her face;
she looks up,
his eyes catch hers
and they stumble,
but there's no tangle of limbs,
nor stutter in speech,
their eyes just stumble.
she flushes,
he doesn't,
she coughs,
he doesn't,
and as much as she wants to look away,
she doesn't.
five seconds pass,
they stare,
10,
they look,
15,
they search,
20,
they f i n d.
he smiles,
and the winds synchronize a symphony.

Hey guys! This is another little poem from a collection I wrote at school. I know it may not be the best either, but I hope you guys will enjoy it even a little bit. Please let me know your thoughts!
