-(i, the child)If you hand a child a flower,
they'll treasure it;
probably bend a few leaves,
and damage the stem a little.
but they'll try their hardest to keep it safe;
even if it's in between their jean pocket,
and if a petal ever fell
they won't notice;
until they do.
and when they do,
they might cry a little,
or maybe they won't,
and if they don't,
they'll just glue the petal right back.
and if you think about it,
the flower is just as,
if not more beautiful than it was before.
