"What did you say?" Karma towered over you sadistically as you give out a whimper of fright.

"Never call me an idiot!" Karma said, grabbing your hair and dragging you somewhere in the forest. Your eyes were prickled with tears, and you've had enough of Karma's abusive treatment to you.

He punched your gut which you responded with a wince and slapped you across your face.

"Never insult me." Karma glared.

"H-Hai." You stuttered.

"Pathetic girlfriend. Why did I even date you?" He snickered and left you with a smirk. You were beaten up, and alone in the forest. You don't want Karma to see you suffering. You grabbed a stick and used it as a support to wobble back to the classroom which you hoped was empty.

You've had enough of Karma.

You entered but then your eyes couldn't believe what you saw. Karma kissed Okuda. You had no strength to fight back, so you weakly grabbed your bag and left.

While walking to your house which in were you live alone, you came across Chiba who stared at you worriedly.

"(L/N)-san? What happened to you?" He asked worriedly, as you wobble to your house with great hopes of somebody from your class or school see you like this.

"Uh... Nothing, it's nothing." You laughed nervously. Chiba sighed and picked you up and let you ride his back.

The trip to his house was calm and quiet, which you enjoyed so much.

He set you down on his bed and gone out to grab the first aid kit and ice bags. Wen he returned, he calmly treated your wounds and didn't react or whatsoever when you're in a bra because of the bruise on your stomach. He did blush though.

"Thanks for taking care of me, Chiba." You smiled softly as he packs away the first aid kit.

"Your welcome." He muttered silently. He put it away on his desk and sat before you.

"Okay, tell me what happened." He said.

"Karma and I are dating right?" He nods and you continue, "I called him an idiot for fun and he dragged me into the forest. He beated me up there and decided to cheat after that. I don't care about him anymore." You said.

"Mhmm. Is that all?" He asked, as you nodded. He kissed your forehead.

"That means I have a chance." He said, as he left the room to prepare some snacks. You turned bright red at what he said.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY A CHANCE?!" You yelled.

"Hmm? I mean I have a chance to court you." Chiba said, entering the room with cookies and milk.
