Shannon:
The night went smooth and there was nothing uncomfortable.

All night when i glance at Jack he is smiling and i can sense the happiness in his eyes. Is he happy we're getting married? Or is he faking it?

I was gazing around the room until Jennifer (Jacks mum) clapped her hands together standing up and looking at me and Jack.

"Okay now i have your attention me and Julia ( Shannon's mum btw) and your fathers would like to give you a gift, its like a wedding gift...but early."

"What is it mum?" Jack asks. Its like thats the first time he talked this evening.

"Well..."

"We bought you guys an apartment that you can live in together until you know...the wedding." Jennifer said smiling wide.

I felt my breath hitch in my throat. My eyes widen and i look at my parents.
Are they seriously kidding me right now?
First off they arrange a marriage for me and then get an apartment for me and Jack, i don't even know him that well yet. Im seriously losing my mind with this family.

"But don't you think its too early?" I ask glancing at jack only to notice that he is staring at me. This is really awkward to be honest.

"Not at all sweetheart, that way you could know each other even more." My dad answered

"When am i going to be moving?" I ask giving up there is no way i can convince my parents anymore, it's unbelievable!

"We decided that you have to move in a week, i know its early but this way you will get used to it until the wedding." John ( jack's dad) said looking at me and jack

"In a WEEK are you serious! I cant just move in that amount of time." I shout immediately calming down while all of them surprised by my outburst.

"This is ridiculous im going back home" i say running upstairs and grabbing my purse, heading straight to my car i drive off while thinking how miserable my life is going to be.

I arrived at my apartment, unlocking the door i threw my purse and work stuff that i had before i went over my parents' house on the couch and went to my room.

I changed into pyjama shorts and a tank top, did my night routine and tucked my self into bed thinking what tomorrow holds.

I woke up this morning by someone knocking on the door. I stand up heading to my dressing table to tie my hair.

I opened the door to be greeted with a smiley jack. "Oh its you,what do you want?" I said yawning and opening the door for him to come in.
"How on earth did you even get my address?" I ask after he came inside.

"What a nice way to greet your fiancé babe." He smirks

I cringe at what he said "don't ever call me that ever."
"The question is why my parents gave you my address." I mumble walking towards the kitchen pouring my self a glass of water. Jack just laughs and sits on my couch.

"I asked for it. Why, I cant visit my  soon to be wife" he replies
I ignore jack and go up to my room leaving him downstairs and get ready for my meeting. Its a week off next week that means i can relax and pack my stuff to move to mine and jacks apartment.

I took only 30 minutes to wash my body and get dressed.
Life hack, always plan your outfit at night.

I walk down the stairs my heels clicking.
Jack noticed me and stood up with a confused look. "Where are you going?"
"You still here?" I role my eyes

"Yep,now tell me where are you going?" He repeats more stern.

"Im going to a meeting. Why? it doesn't concern you anyways." Jack groans and looks in my eyes.
"Because you're my fiancée and i have to look out for you."

"We're not even engaged jack" i sigh and open the door.

"Shannon! Wait, how much left you have till your meeting?"

"An hour why?"

"Lets go to starbucks and have breakfast together as a couple."

"Okay. Im taking my car" i say

"No my car 'cause im taking you out after. When do you finish your meeting?" jack asks

"Depends really" I shrug

"Well text me if you're finished" he opens the car door for me.
"Thank you"
"You welcome babe" he responds

Me and jack went to Starbucks and ordered our drinks.
We sat in a booth and we conversed for a bit until jack asked me a rather hard question to answer.

"Have you ever thought of having kids in the future?"

I looked at him "to be honest no. I always thought that if i had a child it would stop me from exploring the world. But you know babies are a gift from god." I smile at him "what do you think?"

"I would love to have a kid, you know like a miniature me or you in this case.

It really made my heart skip a bit when jack mentioned babies and how he really would like to have one with me, but im just not ready. Of course i would put effort into my family but i really love my job and considering i tour around the country and doing meetings it causes me stress how would i face a crying baby all the time.

After I directed jack to where the meeting is held, i was ready to exit the car until jack stopped me. I look at him kinda annoyed.

"Yes jack" i sigh
"I love you" he smiles

"jack im going to be late, now go away." I open the door, but once again get stopped by jack holding my wrist.

"Shannon can you please cooperate with me in this." jack groans

"What do you mean 'in this'" i nearly shout

"This marriage Shannon, its not entirely arranged by our parents it mostly by me."
"What?" My voice was a little above a whisper "i don't understand, YOU planned this marriage?"

"YES! YOU WANNA KNOW WHY? BECAUSE I LOVE YOU. I'VE BEEN IN LOVE WITH YOU THE PAST COUPLE YEARS." jack yells

I look into his eyes before unlocking the door and exiting the car hurrying into the building.
