Once Again We Meet

Me and Elijah finally finished our food and I was so full.

I needed to head to the bathroom so I told Elijah to pay the check while I was gone.  I didn't want to stay here any longer for the fact I may bump into him.

Grayson's pov

I looked over at Gabi.  She was so beautiful, she looked so different.  It was hard for me to believe that she was the same person I met in high school.  She was walking over to the restrooms.  I wanted to meet her again, before she leaves, but I feel like now isn't a very comfortable time.  Besides, I had my girlfriend with me too.  That would just make it even more awkward.

I decided to just leave the place before I changed my mind.  I told Liana that i would get the car.  She waited inside until i called her over.

Gabi's pov

I walked out of the bathroom and still didn't feel well.  I told Elijah I was just going to get some fresh air.

I was walking outside until I bumped into someone.  I felt dizzy and lost my balance.  I fell to the ground, until the man had caught me in his arms.

Oh no....just my luck...

Grayson's pov

I had bumped into Gabi and almost knocked her over.  I caught her and she looked at me.

This was probably a bad idea.

Although, I didn't regret it.  I looked down at her.  She looked gorgeous.  I looked into her eyes.  It's been so long since I've seen her beautiful, big, brown eyes.  They sparkled, I liked that about her.  She stood up fixing herself.  She looked stunning, she didn't even need to try.

Gabi's pov

Grayson kept staring at me.  It was kind of uncomfortable.  It was actually funny too.  I remember he would do that a lot when I was the new kid at school.

"Grayson?.......wow...um..I haven't see you, in like, forever"

He looked at me a good three seconds until he answered back.

"Um, I mean yeah, it's been what?  Five years?.."

"Yeah, I mean, you look good"

"So do you.."

There was an awkward silence.  He kept looking at me like some creep.  It felt so uncomfortable.

All of a sudden I hear someone calling his name as they walked out the door.

"Hey Gray, you ready t-, oh, who's this babe?", she said.

Grayson's pov

Oh shit, this doesn't look good

"Oh, um, this is Gabi, an old friend of mine.  Gabi, meet Liana, my..um, girlfriend."

Liana shook her hand and Gabi gave an awkward smile.  Well, this is awkward.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you Liana.", Gabi said.

"Same for you....you ready to go babe!", she said excitedly.

"Um, yeah sure we ca-"

I stopped and saw the same man I saw earlier with Gabi, walk out of the door and kiss Gabi on the cheek.

Gabi's pov

Before Grayson could finish, Elijah came out and kissed me on the cheek.

"Hey honey, are you okay, I payed the check"

He then took a look over at Grayson, "Oh, um, who's this honey?"

I spoke with hesitation, "Oh um this is an old high school friend, Grayson....Elijah, this is Grayson, Grayson this is-"

Before I could continue, Elijah grabbed me by the waist tight and spoke, "Elijah, her fiancé.."

Grayson's pov

I was so confused
Fiancé
Already?
That's impossible
I guess she did get over me

"Fi-Fiancé?", I said in confusion.

I said in disappoint, "Oh thats..um..great, congratulations.."

Liana cut in, "Um, is everything okay here?..."

"Yes, babe", I said, trying to break the awkward tension.

"Okay, um, Elijah let's go....bye Grayson, bye Liana it was nice meeting you, have a nice night."

Liana gave her a blank look.

"You too, Gabi", I said.

I watched her as she walked away hand in hand with that guy.  Once they drove off I looked over at Liana, and I could already tell she wasn't very pleased to meet her.....but that guy.  God i already hated him....wait.  Why should I be worried?

I mean she's happy, right?
I hope so
But it felt wrong
him and her
I didn't want him with her
He was sooo...I don't know
All I knew was that she deserved better
Wait, but maybe he is good for her
She doesn't belong with him
Oh My God
Am I jealous?
I couldn't help it
I care about her
....still

A/N: sorry i havent updated in awhile guys, I thought I would be able to update everyday, but I guess not.  hopefully things will get easier since its only 2 more weeks till my summer break.  i hope you guys understand.
