The Girl He Left Behind

---Atif's POV ---

"So who was that girl that just left?" One of my co-workers and closest friends asked.

"Which girl?" I asked.

"The one that just left. She's got attitude, could tell by the way she walks," he said.

I looked at him a bit suprised.

"Were you checking her out?" I asked.

"Dude, I'm not the only one. Every guy was checking her out," he said.

"Every guy?" I questioned.

He nodded.

"Does everyone know that was my wife they were checking out?" I asked.

"Your ...oh...uuumm...okay, now this awkward," he said.

"Ignore it. Let's just do our job," I said and we got to work.

After a few minutes some other guys walked in and gave me their reports.

"By the way, I can get the number of the girl that was in here. She's so freaking  hot," he said.

My friend hid his face in his file from laughing.

"Would you like to get fired?" I asked.

"No," he said.

"Then I'd suggest you stay away from my wife," I said.

"Your..Oh my God. I'm so sorry," he said and left.

Throughout the day about ten guys tried to ask me about her and they were all shocked when I told them.

I had never seen her like that, but apparently every guy here does.

After a super long day I finally got to go home.

"Here," she said.

"What's this?" I asked.

"It's your tea. I noticed that you always have it when you come home," she said.

"Thanks," I said.

"By the way, I'm going to a party tomorrow," she said.

That just made me think of everything that happen earlier today.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"About 8," she said.

"Oh, I'll see if I can leave earlier," I said.

"Why? I'm not telling you to go. I'm going by myself," she said.

"No, you are not!" I said.

"Why not? I'm not a child. I can go by myself. Oh and there's going to be a guy with me already so you don't have to worry about anything," she said and left.

That's nice. Tell me there's a guy with her, it's cute.

I'm definitely going now.
